I cannot praise and thank Mr Baker and his team enough for the care and support I’ve received. From my initial appointment at the breast check clinic, through to my surgery journey, I’ve always felt that I was in safe, knowledgeable and experienced hands. He is a true craftsman of his profession who pays meticulous attention to detail. All decisions were mutually agreed with everything thoroughly explained to ensure my desired outcome. Nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend Mr Baker. I only wish I had found him 10 years ago when I had my initial surgery. However, I feel very fortunate to have found him when I did.

I was a challenging case having previously had implant removal and uplift elsewhere and was left with scars that sat low on my chest along with indentations that made me feel that my breasts looked deformed, and I had previously had scar revision surgeries without success. I had very little breast tissue too and felt out of proportion and had to wear padded bras. I met with Mr Baker who was lovely and immediately put me at ease and understood exactly what my concerns were. His consultation was extremely thorough and all follow up questions were responded to in detail. I didn’t go ahead immediately because I had other things to pursue but there was absolutely no pressure whatsoever from the clinic and when I was ready I went back to see Mr Baker. We decided on a small implant in proportion with my frame, along with scar revision and lifting the previous scars to sit in my crease. I wanted to look natural so that nobody would notice I have had surgery unless I chose to tell them. I got exactly the expected result and am so happy that I found Mr Baker. He is a very talented surgeon and deserves every success that will no doubt come his way.

The whole experience was brilliant from the first consultation to the aftercare. Mr Baker and his team were brilliant. The operation itself was relatively painless and scarring is not as bad as I thought it would be.

Mr Baker performed a breast implant removal and uplift surgery on me back in December just before Christmas. My implants were 19 years old and I was no longer happy with them after 2 pregnancies and a change in lifestyle. I initially went to see Mr Baker for a check of my implants in which he performed an ultrasound and scan of my breasts. He suspected a rupture of my right implant - and he was very thorough during the check talking through my options without any pressure. I felt very at ease with Mr Baker and I could tell from my first meeting with him - his priority is making sure he meets his patients expectations realistically. He went talked through all my options in detail. I left feeling very confident and reassured and booked my surgery for a couple of months later. On the day of the surgery he came to see me beforehand and offered reassurance. His medical team are first class. I felt at ease throughout the entire procedure. The surgery went really well and I did not feel any pain at all after an implant removal and breast uplift. I was shown a picture of my implants at my 1 week post op check and Mr Baker had been spot on - the right implant was indeed ruptured. The recovery felt easy and I was back on my feet a week later enjoying Christmas with my family (albeit taking it easy). I am now 6 weeks post op and I am delighted with the results. Mr Baker and the entire team at Manchester Plastic Surgery are excellent and I would highly recommend them without reservation.

What can I say! I’m over the moon with the results of my recent surgery under the care of Ben Baker. From start to finish he has been wonderful. Very easy to talk to and made me feel really at ease. I’ve wanted this procedure for over 30 years and so glad I chose Ben to do it. From previous experience’s with other operations I was quite apprehensive about this operation, but after the consultation with Ben I felt at ease and was fully confident that I was in safe hands. Also I would give a mention to the rest is the staff from the nurses and to the resection desk everyone was extremely pleasant and very professional, the whole Alexandra hospital experience was excellent and would highly recommend this hospital and MR Ben Baker.

I spent a long time researching for a good surgeon to remove my brest inplants, I chose Benjamin baker , from the first meeting I felt so informed with his advice I had breast implant removal, capsulectomies, and mastopexy, im 6 weeks in recovery and I couldn't be happier wish I had done it sooner, my brests look so much better,the team around Mr baker are truly amazing I know at anytime I could contact them if I was worried with anything, thank you all so much,

I cannot recommend Dr. Baker highly enough. Prior to deciding to have my breast lift procedure with him, I had previously gone for a consultation at a different clinic - which completely put me off the whole idea!! With Dr. Baker it was a totally different story. From the initial meeting right the way through to the surgery and after care, I felt reassured and confident I was in safe hands. Went the extra mile in advising me on how to deal with botched botox that someone else has carried out (not at his practice). He took time out of his busy day to assist me and assuring me that the botched botox will wear off and the best treatment going forward

I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for this man. Ben picked up my case after no other surgeon would go near me. I foolishly had implant and uplift surgery abroad that led to necrosis requiring emergency surgery to remove an implant and a substantial amount of tissue and was then treated extremely poorly by a plastic surgeon in the UK which left me psychologically affected and in a position where I was in pain, physically botched and with nowhere to turn. Ben operated on me in September and has given me my quality of life back - I no longer require a prosthesis, I can swim, I can wear clothing without limitation, I can now make plans for holidays etc with my children and am without the significant pain I was suffering. With what he had to work with I was prepared to accept anything cosmetically as long as I wasn’t in pain and there might be a chance of limitations to my daily life reducing, but I can hand on heart say that the results have surpassed what I could have ever wished for or thought possible. It transpired during surgery that the old implant has ruptured and wandered unknowingly so beyond owing Ben my quality of life, I may well owe him my actual life too. From my first consultation I have been treated with nothing but kindness, support, and demonstrable efforts to go above and beyond for me. I have felt safe, cared for and confident in Ben’s (outstanding) skills the whole way through - he has reconstructed more than just the physical and I will be forever thankful.
