I cannot recommend Dr. Baker highly enough. Prior to deciding to have my breast lift procedure with him, I had previously gone for a consultation at a different clinic - which completely put me off the whole idea!! I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for this man. Ben picked up my case after no other surgeon would go near me. I foolishly had implant and uplift surgery abroad that led to necrosis requiring emergency surgery to remove an implant and a substantial amount of tissue and was then treated extremely poorly by a plastic surgeon in the UK which left me psychologically affected and in a position where I was in pain, physically botched and with nowhere to turn.

Ben operated on me in September and has given me my quality of life back - I no longer require a prosthesis, I can swim, I can wear clothing without limitation, I can now make plans for holidays etc with my children and am without the significant pain I was suffering.

With what he had to work with I was prepared to accept anything cosmetically as long as I wasn’t in pain and there might be a chance of limitations to my daily life reducing, but I can hand on heart say that the results have surpassed what I could have ever wished for or thought possible.

It transpired during surgery that the old implant has ruptured and wandered unknowingly so beyond owing Ben my quality of life, I may well owe him my actual life too.

From my first consultation I have been treated with nothing but kindness, support, and demonstrable efforts to go above and beyond for me. I have felt safe, cared for and confident in Ben’s (outstanding) skills the whole way through - he has reconstructed more than just the physical and I will be forever thankful.

I was recently introduced to Dr Baker because he could offer an alternative to replacing a 10 year old implant that was fitted after a mastectomy.

Dr Baker explained in great detail how he could remove the implant and perform a delayed reconstruction of my breast with extended latissimus Doris flap, in laymen’s terms, transfer fat from an area of my body to fill the breast pocket, Dr Baker was very patient with me, I had a lot of questions and every question was answered in great detail, with patience and sensitivity.

From the minute I met Dr Baker, I felt at ease and as a result I agreed to go ahead with the procedure.

The morning of the OP, I met Dr Baker and his team, again, I felt very much at ease when everything was explained to me, essentially and importantly, it was explained again to make sure I understood what procedure I was having, it was also explained who would be in theatre with me and how his team managed the anaesthetic.

Dr Baker visited me on the ward every day until I was discharged then 8 weeks later I met with him for a checkup, honestly, hand on heart, the results are amazing, there’s still some healing to do but regardless of that, looking at how my breast looks now, it is 100%, in fact 1000% better than it was with an implant, this procedure gives a more natural look and feel and on a plus side, I don’t have to have an implant replaced in 10 years so no more surgery.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Baker for plastic surgery operation, like I said in the headline, a simple thank you is just not enough.

Dr Baker is an outstanding surgeon. Approachable, intuitive and highly professional. I am genuinely delighted with the outcome. He quickly understood exactly the results I was looking for and went above and beyond at every stage of the surgical process.

His team are also fabulous and Jacqui is simply the best aftercare nurse you could wish for.

Dr Baker was the lead plastic surgeon on my DIEP flap procedure (after a preventative mastectomy) and I am amazed every day by the level of detail and care that went into creating my new body. I went in after having two kids and have always had very asymmetrical breasts, with uneven nipples after breastfeeding. Dr Baker was well up for the challenge and I woke up with perfectly symmetrical breast (for the first time in my life!), including my nipples. Not to mention the flat tummy with a new belly button that was identical to my old one. I had very few healing complications and I have must say, I visually prefer my new body because of Dr Baker’s extreme care and craft. I am thankful for my results every day, and I would recommend him to anyone.
