Are my breasts tuberous? Can I get good results without having a lift? (Photos)

Tuberous breast can cause a wide range of shapes and sizes. It is sometimes also referred to as constricted breast. Typical features are an underdeveloped lower portion of the breast, mild to moderate size and shape differences, 'puffy looking' or herniated nipples, a short distance from the breast fold to the nipple, and a higher than usual fold.

The treatment is individualized because each case is unique. It also partly depends on your aesthetic goals. Some women with milder cases can have a good result with a breast lift. The nipple position and shape of the breast does improve just with release of the constricting bands and a combination of an implant and/or fat transfer.

Your breasts don’t appear to be tuberous based on your photos. A straightforward lift may be sufficient.

Your breasts are not tuberous just asymmetrical. I recommend a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. At the same time, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

Thank you for your question and photographed. Fortunately you do not have tuberous breasts. You have medial and inferior pole insufficiency but not the significant constriction in the subareolar region.

I certainly think you should be able to achieve a good result with breast implants without a breast lift.
