am i a good candidate for nasal tip refinement surgery? i would like to get rid of the boxy appearance of my nose without shortening it and without a more invasive procedure.

Answer: Nasal tip refinement... You do appear to be a good candidate for nasal tip plasty. The cartilage of the tip is trimmed and reshaped so that it appears more triangular instead of the boxy appearance you note. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

The framework is modified and the skin is laid back down. These are big movements that are often intended to create millimeter changes to the shape of the nose once it heals.Each nose is different, however, and so there will be slight variations in the technique. In addition, the thickness of the nose skin can affect the overall result.
