Dr. Rosenblatt is an astute surgeon with years of experience. He was able to understand my needs and address my most worried concerns. My experience was the best patient experience ever, the staff treated me more like family and the quality of care that I received is beyond compare. I definitely recommend Dr. Rosenblatt and will be going back in the near future. Not only do I feel great, but I look even better!
I'm so happy with how my breasts look. They're fuller and look very natural! One of my saline implants ruptured so I had to remove and replace them. I wanted to get a little bigger but didn't want it to be noticeable. Most importantly, I wanted them to look natural and I had concerns about silicone. I loved hearing that Dr. Rosenblatt was a big advocate of real looking breasts. He not only addressed all my concerns but chose the perfect size. He also has a helpful staff that really made a difference, especially Jennifer at the front desk! I'm also extremely happy that he was able to make the incision around the nipple vs under the breasts because of his experience. His level of knowledge and expertise was very obvious in all my meetings with him. Dr. Rosenblatt and his staff help make the entire process very comfortable and I'd highly recommend him.
I always had issues with my body and I have had 4 surgeries with Dr. Rosenblatt and I trust him completely. The first was a Breast enhancement about 10 years ago. It was exactly what I wanted and after a few years, I gained a little weight and I wanted some liposuction in my thigh and tummy area. Once again, great job...I was very pleased. A few years ago, I decided to get a breast reduction due to my breasts getting bigger due to age and a little weight gain. It came out nicely but since I didn't go down enough, I had another reduction this past September after waiting 3 years. I also added a little liposuction on my tummy. Everything came out great and my scars are practically invisible. I did this in a weekend and the pain was minimal. I have been a patient for 10 years and I will continue because I have been extremely happy with the results. He is experienced, knowledgeable and friendly. The staff is amazing and I had to reschedule 3 times with no hassle or problems. Overall, I would give 5 stars!
The magic of IVF and persistence (multiple tries) allowed me to have 2 beautiful healthy babies 5 years ago. What a joy and blessing. They were born at 36.5 weeks and weighed just over 6lb each - I tipped scale at 190+. The weight came off easily - I am an avid exerciser and eat very healthy. But I has diastasis recti. I tried Tuppler technique. I finally even tried abdominal binders or waist trainers. Nothing changed the fact that my tummy was now convex instead of concave. I went to Dr. Bill (William) Rosenblatt. He told me I was a good candidate and gave me all the details - what I would go through, what would happen, timeline for healing. I had my tummy tuck on Jun 4 2015. At only 5 weeks post op, I lost ten inches off my waistline and can fit skirts and pants I haven't been able to fit since before my kids. Everyone tells me I look amazing. But the best part is: I feel like I have MY body back.
My motivation to get breast implants was that I was uncomfortable with my body and very self conscious in a bathing suit. I am an avid athlete, I was a gymnast from age 2-18 and then took up MMA after college. I have always been small chested but through college had slimmed out a lot which made my chest even smaller. The outcome was fantastic. It was the absolute best choice and investment I have ever done. Dr. Rosenblatt suggested the perfect size because I has expressed that I wanted my breasts to be proportionate with my body. They are perfect!!
Tomorrow morning is my tummy tuck with lipo. I've been slim and fit my entire life. I bounced back very quickly after my 3 1/2 year old daughter was back. When we decided to have another baby, we got the shock of our lives when we discovered we were having twins. I carried our identical twin boys to 38 weeks and they were born big, healthy boys. The pregnancy did quite a number on my body. I have a massive diastasis recti and a ton of hanging skin. It's so ugly and I cannot wait to get rid of it. I am petrified. Going under for surgery is scary. I have no idea what to expect pain wise. I had a c section with the twins and thought the whole thing was really no big deal. The pain was VERY manageable. Time will tell.....! Updated on 5 Jan 2013: I am 10 days post op. My surgery went well and I was very comfortable when I got home. Days 1 & 2 post op were very hard. Each day since then has gotten better and better. Now I feel tight and sore. I can't eat too much at a time because of the tightness which is good for loosing more weight I wanted to! :) I have swelling by the incision which seemed to increase considerably; doc said its totally normal. I think it looks fabulous and I'm so happy. Even if I do swell more, it can only get better from here. I'll post some before and afters soon. Updated on 12 Jan 2013: Day 16 post op. Still tight and swollen, not awful though. My incision looks fantastic. I keep feeling what may be little muscle spasms and it feels like a baby kicking!
Dr. Rosenblatt is a phenomenal surgeon. Words can not express how happy I am with the final result from this surgery. The best part is how natural looking my nose appears. Dr. Rosenblatt is highly experienced and confident which put me at ease when I wasn't sure what to expect. The procedure it's self is fairly easy. I wasn't in any kind of pain. My recovery went very smooth, no pain but just alittle uncomfortable for a few days. The cast comes off after about two days. Dr. Rosenblatt doesn't put any packing inside the nose. I heard packing can be very painful when taken out. I had minimal bruising which healed after about a week. His office staff is very accommodating and friendly. My only regret is I should have done this sooner! It was one of the best things I ever did for myself! I was so lucky to have found Dr. Rosenblatt. He has my complete trust. I love the result! I would highly recommend him to all my family and friends!
My nose was large in every way that it could be. My bridge was pronounced and I had a wide bulbous tip. My doctor reduced the brige, extracted fat from the tip, and performed an alar base reduction which is not "standard" in rhinoplasty procedure. I was otherwise happy with my other facial features and overall appearance. My nose was the only thing I was "conscious" of so I got the surgery.
I was't happy with my nose and ears. I asked him to make my nose small and cute but he just did his own thing which I am glad for because my nose is perfectly proportional to my face. My ears aren't exactly what I expected but realistically they are done well and my expectations were too high. Updated on 7 Sep 2011:I was very happy with my nose and ears. So here I am, 2 weeks and 1 day after surgery. The pros are that I am no longer in pain, I can sit up, walk (hunched over) and i've had the drains removed. The cons are that i've developed a Seroma. My tummy now looks worst than it did before I had the surgery and right after the surgery. I have a large lump in the middle of my stomach and my stomach looks lopsided. The left side is much bigger and harder than the right side. I am very frustrated and have a very hard time sleeping because I sleep on my side and am currently unable to.I did go see the Doctor this week and he said that i'm doing fine. He wants me to return next week to have the Seroma drained, if needed. At any rate, it's very frustrating to go from looking great post surgery to looking lopsided. I just hope that it goes away soon. 'sigh', Updated on 23 Nov 2009: Today i'm standing up even better! It's amazing to see how the human body regenerates itself. Every day I wake up a little bit stronger and markedly improved. I can even sleep on my side now... Wow!! I'm still a little swollen and I still have the Seroma but I went back to work today for the first time. Every day of that two week break was needed. The difference between me today and 7 days ago is astounding. Let alone the difference between today and November 5.I no longer take pain meds at all. In fact, November 16 was the last time I took any medication period. I am no longer in pain. It is very uncomfortable though.Don't worry I'll post pictures soon. The before and after. I'm just waiting for the swelling to go down some more. I think i'm going to post them at 6 weeks to be fair or if I'm looking absolutely fabulous, i'll post at 4 weeks. Updated on 16 Dec 2009: Wow I can't believe it's been 5 weeks already! (brushes shoulder off) I DID It!! I SURVIVED THE TUMMY TUCK!! YIPPY KI YAY!! I know I know... where are the pics right? Well I promise you by the end of this week you will see them. Soooo everday i'm getting better. Still healing but the swelling has gone down TREMENDOUSLY! I attended a party this past weekend and let me tell you... even the gay men were hitting on me!!! NO LIE! My body was the talk of the party. Everyone talked about my little skinny waist & it's not done healing yet!! I gotta admit though, I did look absolutely drop dead gorgeous thankyouverymuch. Today was my last doctors appt until February. No more Seroma (I survived u too). No more pain. Just getting better and feeling great. Here are a few tips for you:Do not rush your results! Yes you will be swollen. Yes it will be uncomfortable but your swelling will eventually go down. You do have a flat tummy under there (somewhere).A seroma can make your body look very distorted but it is common and NO it is NOT the end of the world. Your tummy is numb so getting it drained will NOT hurt. PIPE DOWN! (I'm such a pro).Assume that if you can not fit your old jeans your are still swollen. I am wearing jeans today that I have not worn since the surgery. I was so hurt when they would not fit. Now I understand the meaning of "swollen" & YES you will be.You will feel like you've done a thousand sit-ups right after the surgery, you may have some lower back pain, and your drain will be a pain in the youknowwhat. However, you can deal with it. I did it and I was SCARED2DEATH!Last but not least.. although the drain is annoying, make sure that you keep track and write the correct cc's. Don't be in a rush to have the drain removed or you may develop a Seroma. A seroma is a build up of those same fluids that come out into the drain. If the drain is gone where will those fluids go?? Youuuuu guessed it.... NO WHERE! It will be a swishy swashy goopy puffy mess in your tummy (we dont like swishy swashy goopy stuff do we?)I hope this has been helpful. Good luck you guys. Dont be afraid like I was. DO IT! Take back your body girlfriend (or boyfriend).I recommend good ole Doctor R. The coolest dude/plastic surgeon on the planet! I pinky swear. Updated on 17 Dec 2009: After having a baby 16 Years old I have never been able to wear a bikini. In fact, The one time I tried to I used so much makeup that my tummy looked even worst. My kid is now 16y/o and I wanted to do something for me. I will continue my journal daily so you guys can have your surgery vicariously through & perhaps you will help me change my current name lol!I arrived at the facility early and was immediately ushered I in by the wonderful staff. I quickly undressed & the good Doctor came in and marked me up. I pretty much had a good picture of what he planned to do. Afterwards, I met with the anesthesiologist. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions.Soon after I was taken in the operating room. I woke up on a bed & was assisted in getting my clothes on by the wonderful staff. My friend had arrived for me and was waiting. The nurse decided she would not let me leav til my IV drip was finished. I thought that was great because they were not pushing me out.Fast forward a bit: I get home & I'm in a fantastic mood. I felt very little pain but it felt like I done 1000 crunches and leg lifts. Uncomfortabr but not painful. I then went to sleep. At apx 6pm the pain hit and it was awful. I felt so lathargic and Hurt at the same time. I tried to despense the pain pump but that didn't help so I popped a Vicodine. That helped! I still felt some pain but it made it easier to calm down. The doctor called and explained that the pump would automatically dispense. I thought it would come out if I pushed the button. I shouldve asked that question sooner. So in that period where the effects of the pain pump was wearing off I needed something else. Wow that was a tough lesson to learn! At any rate it's 2:33am and my kid and bf are both knocked out. Poor things. I put them through it today. So to clear up a few things:1. the pain pump is a must have. If that pain I felt earlier was how it feels without the pain pump I think I would have lost my darn mind by now.2. Alot of people say that the first bowel movement is excruciating. Mines was not at all. The reason for that is, I have a very high fiber diet. It was so easy.3. Whatever u eat that first day should be light and not loaded with salt. That will make ya head feel like it's about to bust open. Hope you found some of this useful and I will continue to update
No matter what surgery you have, either a FDL or a TT you will always have some of the vertical scar. It would be impossible to remove all of it.
This is one of the problems with this surgery. Often the scars widen as they did with you. In my experience, a scar revision will not solve the problem. It is time for you to live with them.
The technique is operator dependent --- younger doctors do it open , older ones may do it closed. I do closed rhinoplasties.
You need to be seen in person, but in my experience a closed rhinoplasty can usually be done to fix this type of problem.
The diagnosis of a deviated nasal septum is made by looking inside your nose and seeing that the wall that divides it in half is shifted to one side. Unless you are symptomatic, ie, unable to breathe through one nostril or blocked passages or chronic sinusitis or a severe external deformity there is no reason to havfe surgery on the septum. If you do not like the way your nose looks, then what you want is a rhinoplasty where the external deformity is corrected. That is elective surgery that is not covered by insurance. Correction of a deviated nasal septum is a medical issue that is usually covered by insurance, but it does nothing to change the way your nose looks. Sometimes when doing a rhinoplasty one needs to fix the septum because it is pushing the nose to one side - then you need a rhinoplasty with septal correction. I hope that answers your question.
