I’m not sure what a BBL 360 means. The term 360 often is used when describing abdominal liposuction as also including love, handles waist and back. Your body looks a bit different than the patient in your wish picture so I think your result will look different. Young people typically are better candidates for both Liposuction and fat transfer and the picture of your wish outcome looks like someone in their 20s. Delivering consistent quality, liposuction and fat transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of provider selection when it comes to these procedures. I suggest patient start the process by having multiple in person, consultations with plastic surgeons who have proven track record with both liposuction and fat transfer. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up your portfolio and show you their entire collection of before, and after pictures of previous patients, who have similar body characteristics to your own. And experienced plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider, with your results are likely to look like or how many of these procedures they’ve actually done. It’s also very important to confirm the timeframe of when after pictures were taken. Early fat, trans Results can look very impressive, but do not in anyway represent long-term final outcomes. After pictures should not be taken less than 3 to 6 months from the date of the procedure. The number of plastic surgeons have truly mastered. These procedures are in a small minority. Being board-certified in plastic surgery, with years of experience does not mean somebody is mastered every procedure, especially not liposuction and fat transfer. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the best provider. The more consultations you have the more likely you you are to find the best provider for your needs. Considering how much variation there is in skill among plastic surgeons, I suggest having at least five consultations before choosing a provider. I do not recommend people travel long distances for elective surgical procedures. I also do not recommend patients have virtual consultations, but rather rely on in person consultations. Poorly done Liposuction can leave people permanently disfigured. The biggest mistake patients make is scheduling only one consultation, then scheduling surgery. I think you’re a fine candidate for a BBL procedure, but you should look at results of previous patients whose body similarities match yours a little closer. It’s not a bad idea to bring pictures of your body to use as a reference during consultations. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
