Hi i am 25, 5'8, 205 pounds(working on weight loss before i book any procedure) im dark skin. I have an athletic rectangle body type. no curves or hips, broad shoulders and round back. However i want to know if a BBL could be done where it harmonizes with my broad shoulders/round back and still look curvy. I see many women that had BBL where the shoulders are still too broad for the body and does not match the new curves. i hope you understand my question and i appreciate your response.
Answer: Lipo + BBL candidate Thanks for the question, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour and I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL). Kind regards

Answer: BBL candidate Dear beautypopper101, it is hard to tell for sure without an examination. Based on your photos, it looks like you would need BBl and probably tummy tuck in order to improve the shape of your body. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: BBL candidacy I would say you are a moderately good candidate for BBL surgery. You still need to lose some weight and further weight loss will worsen your skin laxity, which is fairly prominent on your back. Getting the results you want is highly dependent on finding a surgeon who has the same aesthetic goal in mind and has the skill and experience to perform the procedure well. When doing liposuction of the abdomen it’s important to incorporate the entire torso. This includes well done, liposuction of the entire backside, and under arm or armpit area. Arm liposuction may be considered as well. Arms should be treated circumferentially in order to decrease the appearance of the shoulder and upper extremity. Skin laxity will inherently limit results, especially on your backside, but your fat distribution is currently less than ideal and manipulation of where you carry your subcutaneous fat layer could give an impressive outcome. It’s important that the augmentation focus on creating a proper S curve, a.k.a. Coke bottle a.k.a. hourglass figure. I typically view the S curve, starting just above the knee all the way up to the arm. Developing a smooth, consistent curve around your hips and into your waist is the key of the procedure. Delivering consistent quality liposuction and fat. Transfer results is more difficult than most people realize. The number of plastic surgeons who truly master did these procedures are in a small minority. Finding sufficiently experience provider may not be easy or straightforward. I suggest patient start the process by having multiple in person consultations with plastic surgeons in their community. During each consultation, ask each provider to open up their portfolio and show you their entire collection of before and after pictures of previous patients who had similar body characteristics to your own. And experience plastic surgeon should have no difficulty showing you the before and after pictures of at least 50 previous patients. Being shown a handful of pre-selected images, representing only the best results of a providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider. For transfer results recognized early results can look very impressive, but do not represent Long-term final results. Always confirm when after pictures were taken in relationship to the date of the procedure. After pictures should never be taken less than 3 to 6 months from the date of surgery in order to be representative. I personally find doing the BBL procedure is best done with patients laying on their side. Most providers put people face down in a prone position. What this is fine for augmenting the buttocks it tends to make getting the contour of the hips more difficult. Each provider will have their own way of doing this procedure And results very dramatically who you choose as your surgeon. There’s no correct number of consultations needed to find the right provider. When in doubt, I suggest you slow down and schedule more consultations. Since you’re in the process of losing weight and you’ll probably need some time to do that it’s not a bad idea to start the consultation process early. Scheduling in person consultations can take time and I do not recommend rushing into decisions regarding procedures, which are permanently going to change what your body looks like and can potentially leave people looking disfigured. At 205 pounds, it may be challenging to get ideal outcomes based on local fat removal limits associated with Liposuction legislature. In the state of Florida, only 4 L of fat can be removed, and this would most likely be insufficient to get the best results. When treating the torso with liposuction on average patients, I can usually complete the procedure staying within the California 5 L limit on patient up to about 180 pounds. Above that some fat may need to be left behind or patient may need a second round of liposuction. to treat the entire torso as an anatomic unit includes treating all areas in order to leave patients with a natural, even thin, consistent fat, distribution without transition zones between treated and untreated areas. By far the most important variable is provider selection. I recommend patients avoid temptation of having virtual consultations and avoid traveling long distances for elective surgical procedures, especially without first meeting your surgeon.
