Is it possible to do a forehead lift to tighten loose skin without raising eyebrows?

I have treated forehead creases by eliminating the frontalis muscle that causes the creases. This can be done thru several techniques. I had a Brooklynite woman with deep lines that were permanently eliminated by one procedure. Fillers with fat or hyloronics can also be used , which are injectable. Good luck. 

Hello.  Thank you for your question.  There are multiple techniques available for lifting the brow and/or forehead.  The choice of technique depends on the anatomy and goals of the individual patient and the experience of the physician.  If you are simply wanting to tighten the skin and improve forehead wrinkles without significant elevation of the brow, this can be best accomplished by performing a pretrichial subcutaneous forehead lift.  With this technique, the incision is made in an irregular pattern within the edge of the frontal hairline, and the dissection is performed within the subcutaneous layer of the forehead to allow the skin of the forehead to be separated from the underlying muscle.  The skin is then re-draped over the forehead and excess skin is then removed.  The incision is then closed within the frontal hairline.  This can significantly improve forehead wrinkles.  However, the skin will adhere back to the underlying muscle and over time the forehead wrinkles will likely begin to recur with repeated facial expressions that raise the brow.  Therefore, Botox injections will still likely be needed to prevent recurrence of the forehead wrinkles over time.  I would encourage you to seek a consultation with a board-certified Facial Plastic Surgeon, or Plastic Surgeon, who has extensive experience and expertise in facial rejuvenation and allow them to assess your individual anatomy, concerns and goals, in order to determine the best treatment plan for you.  I wish you the best in achieving your aesthetic goals.

You can have a skin only forehead lift with an incision at the hairline made in such a way to let the hair grow through the scar. This would diminish the forehead wrinkle and not raise the brow. You need to be seen to determine if you are a good candidate for this procedure. 

 Removing excess for head skin without raising the brow with the Irregular Trichophytic incision. I described this 40 years ago and have done hundreds! Your browse want to be raised in the excess skin can be removed with or without hairline lowering.  This method allows hair to grow through the scars and the scar is not seen (unless you are a male who will have future hair loss). 

Forehead lifts do more to raise the eyebrows than improve forehead wrinkles.  Raising eyebrows and improving wrinkles go hand in hand.  You might want to consider laser resurfacing if you just want to address wrinkles or Botox.

A limited lift can achieve improvement of the skin wrinkles without lifting the eyebrows. It can be coronal, endoscopic or pretrichial (just next to the hairline). RegardsDr J

friendlyuser  Photographs would help, but it sounds like you would be a good candidate for Mini Brow Lift surgery. This involves a small incision on each side of the scalp within the hair bearing area and loose forehead skin is undermined lifted and trimmed through the small incisions. Redundant skin can be removed without raising the eyebrows. Come see me or another board certified plastic surgeon in the area for a full evaluation. Good luck!

Hello,It is difficult to make any assesments without any photos provided.  Your concern can be addressed to a forehead lift that tightens skin and it tightens your lifts and  brows as well, it will be elevated as well.  A coronal Brow Lift includes a scar that goes from ear to ear and the forehead skin. There are two types of Endoscopic Brow lifts, First one hides the scars in the scalp and the other one makes  an incision through the upper eyelid. An in-person examination, you can discuss everthing with your surgeon and  create your  customised surgery plan. You need to seek a professional surgeon to get the best result.

for your question.  By definition, a
forehead lift tightens skin, but lifts your brows.  Having said that, I do think it is possible
to leave the brow attachments to the orbital rims, which would leave the brows
in their respective positions, but pull the skin upward.  The incision would need to be at the
hairline/pretrichial and the frontalis muscle would need to be weakened during
