Hi Sarah,I don't think an open ended question like "What can I do to improve my face?" will help someone with poor self-esteem. Why? Let's say you actually have a specific thing about your face that actually bothers you, but nothing else. The open ended question will open Pandora's Box of even more insecurities. Instead of the single thing that bothers you, you may receive a variety of "suggestions" by plastic surgeons which may or may not even be of any concern to you. If you had good self esteem, you would likely let those suggestions roll of your back, but for someone with poor self-esteem, I would worry that you would take those critiques additional reasons not to feel confident in yourself.In this day and age of Instagram, I think it only makes people feel bad. Many of the photos posted on Social Media by celebrities and influencers are taken by professional photographers (which always looks better than the selfie camera taken at arms length) and may have also been Photoshopped or FaceTuned to look better. There is a reason for the term "Hate-Like" because secretly Social Media is making us feel bad about our self image and comparing our lives to "curated" Instagram photos.I think you look young and beautiful with amazing skin, beautiful eyes and facial features. If you look at Paparazzi photos of celebrities when they are caught without make up in regular clothes they don't look as glamorous. Then look at their Instagram, and their lives look perfect. Which is the reality?If we compare our own lives and bodies and faces to a fake reality, no wonder we don't feel good about ourselves.In America, we talk about, Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. People who are looking to be "happy" may never find it. In other countries, the focus is on finding meaning in life, which often is about helping others and making others "happy" and in turn this gives us meaning in our own lives which is fulfilling and can lead to happiness. Sometimes the pursuit of success or some kind of perfection doesn't really change how they feel about themselves. Often times once they achieve the goal they were trying of reach, they think they will feel better or different, but instead they feel the same, even though they actually achieved their goal.Sorry about the rambling, but I hope you found my comments helpful.Best,
