I got the Bellesoma lift and my nipples are too high. I want to know if they can be corrected. I am open to, and desire a fat transfer for more fullness as well. However, my main concern is lowering my areola/nipple
Answer: Nipples too high, can they be corrected? Hello @CoolMom2020, thank you for your question and showing your pictures. It is possible to reposition and improve the shape of the breast with minimal scarring by raising the base slightly and improving the overall proportion im your surgical plan. This will create overall harmony. For more information and recommendations is best to consult with one or several board certified plastic surgeons. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD, FACS.

Answer: Lift Yes, you can be easily corrected by having more skin removed from your inferior incision with perhaps some breast tissue. Your nipples will appear to be lowered, but actually the excess skin between your nipples and lower incision will be removed and place your nipples where they should be. Adding fat will not lower your nipples.

Answer: Nipples too high after Bellesoma lift - can they be corrected? Hello and thank you for posting your question. Interesting case. I find this is more common then your think with certain breast lift procedures. This can be fixed but how much it can actually be lowered will depend on several factors, including how tight the skin is above your areola. You have a little too much lower pole. Meaning the amount of breast tissue bellow your nipple is a little excessive considering your breast size. Reduction of the lower pole with an incision directly on your breast fold should do the trick. This will translate in a small reduction of your breast but should help pull the areola down a bit. Best of luck, Dr. Miguel Mota

Answer: Nipple position Dear CoolMom2020, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what went wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Nipple/areoal (NA) location If your have fat transferred to the upper pole and middle of the breasts, then you may change how clothes fit the breasts and thus adjust the height of the NA on your breasts. Your nipple areaola may be adjusted by performing a periareolar lift (scar only around the areola where you now have one. The garment you are wearing is not the best one for your breasts which is part of why so much of the areola is peeking out. Dr. Taranow
