Dr Hamm is a true professional artist. He has completed surgeries for me over the past 12 years. I have had breast augmentation that lasted 12 years and now I went back for a mommy make over after having children. Dr Hamm is the only surgeon I will see and we drove over an hour each way just to be his patient.
My experience with Strax was great. The Staff were all so professional and helpful. Starti g with Tammy and Javier. Then with the people in the Surgical Center. They were great at calming me down. I just remember waking up from Surgery- being sick and nauseous and one Nurse looking at me with such care and concern. She patted my Hand and said-- I am so sorry you feel sick, but you will be feeling better soon. I do t remember her name. Then the post op people-- Millie, Lilly and Angela-- so wonderful and caring. Then my Surgeon-- Dr. Hamm. From the first time I met him- he knew exactly what I saw and felt needed correcting. He was totally insync with me. He made me feel confident and comfortable that I was in great hands. Now-- after 3 Weeks-- I am still a bit swollen, but I already look better than before my Surgery. And he said it will only get better with time as the swelling goes down. I kissed Dr. Hamm's hands when I just met with him. He has magic Hands...!

Hi and welcome to our forum! Every individual has a different concept of “normal” breast size. In addition, there is no standardization of bra size in the manufacturing industry. One company’s “C” is another company’s “D”. There are various ways to determine desired breast size. Bringing in “wish pix” to demonstrate to your surgeon will make him / her aware of your anticipated goals. Placing an implant in a bra gives an extremely rough idea of anticipated breast size. One may estimate volume by adding rice to a baggie (1 cc 1 ml) and adding the volume to your breast beneath a bra. Some surgeons offer computer imaging. Implant sizing is a lot more than volume ("cc.") The specific dimensions of your chest wall must be taken into consideration. The width of the breast, your desired projection, and the desired volume together determine the correct range of implant sizes. An important measurement is the base width of the implant. If you drop a vertical line from the medial most and lateral most aspects of the breast, and measure the distance between them, this suggests a base width (the footprint of the implant). If an implant is too narrow, you will not have adequate cleavage. If wider than the base width, you will have excessive cleavage and “lateral boob”. The fill of the implant then determines the amount of forward projection. I recommend you visit an implant manufacturer website (e.g. Mentor, Allergan, etc.) as they will list base widths, fill options, and projections for each implant size they offer. You can trust the recommendations of a board-certified plastic surgeon. If unsure, seek a second discussion with your doctor to ensure you are on the same page. Be careful what you wish for.....a DD may be fine at present, but you may regret it as you get older and your breasts begin to sag. Best wishes…
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note a broad nasal bridge at its middle third, suggesting previous injury. Fillers can fill in depressions but not broadness. Without a lateral view I cannot discern if there is a depression overlying the broad bridge. Fillers, used appropriately, can fill in depressions of nasal contour, but the effect is temporary, lasting 6 months or so. The procedure of rhinoplasty appears to be indicated here. As you are also contemplating tip plasty, perhaps you may wish to combine them. Best wishes...
Hi and welcome to our forum! While the majority of nasal swelling will subside within 8 weeks after rhinoplasty, residual swelling may take up to 2 years to resolve. The nasal tip is notorious for taking the longest time to heal. Be patient! Best wishes...
Hi and welcome to our forum! There is inherent risk of nasal collapse following rhinoplasty. If discovered early in the postoperative period, it can be treated successfully. Otherwise, nasal collapse requires later reconstruction. Depending upon the nature of the collapse, different procedures are available. The nasal valves are located at the junction of the nasal septum and the nasal bones. If the angle between the septum at midline and the lateral nostril wall is too narrow, there will be an external deformity, nasal airway obstruction or a combination of both. I do not feel that this represents malpractice, but rather an unfavorable outcome. Freely discuss this issue with your surgeon, if possible. Best wishes...
Hi and welcome to our forum! Photos would enhance our ability to evaluate your nose. There is insufficient information to provide advice. The nature of your jaw surgery would also be beneficial. If the upper jaw was realigned, it may result in significant nasal change. Best wishes...
