This surgery would be done internally so that there is no external scar. I have had many consultations for lower blepharoplasty and no one has ever suggested anything like this. The doctor I am seeing is an ophthalmic plastic surgeon, as I felt it was best to see a specialist. I just wonder if this is normal and why is this done? I also wanted to know the possible complications from using this technique. I want to try to avoid any potential external scaring from sutures. Thank you.
