Thank you for your question and pictures. It looks to me like the best way to fix the uneven areas and the saggy skin as well as the belly button it to do a Tummy Tuck. Be sure that the doctor that did your lipo is a Board Certified PS and then inquire about TT.
Unfortunately, this is a classic situation where a post-pregnancy patient gets liposuction instead of a tummy tuck. The problem with liposuction in this situation is that it doesn't tighten the skin to any noticeable degree and the tummy tends to wrinkle more after removing the fat with liposuction. At this point, a tummy tuck will help correct most of your loose skin and some of your contour irregularities as well
Unfortunately you were not a candidate for liposuction alone. Based on skin laxity, you look like you were a candidate for a tummy tuck in addition to liposuction. I recommend Vanquish to all my post-liposuction patients, which you can have now, and will help with further fat removal. After liposuction, I also recommend exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for the question. Unfortunately, liposuction will not fix loose skin that usually persists after weight loss. For that, you would need a tummy tuck. I would suggest an in person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon in order to get an exam and find out what your options are.Best of luck,Dr. Hisham Seify
Thank you for the question and congratulations on getting the procedure done. Unfortunately, liposuction will not fix loose skin that usually persists after weight loss. For that, you would need a tummy tuck. Liposuction works primarily to achieve contouring results and eliminate excess fat. An in-person exam with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be the best way to assess your situation and guarantee an individualized medical advice. Best of luck! Dr. Michael Omidi.
You really need to be examined in person in order to assess the quality of the tissues and also discuss your goals and willingness to accept scars or not. Whether it is more lipo, a "mini-tuck" or a full tuck depends on these factors.
You should address your concerns to your surgeon and see what options are offered. I suspect you may need an abdominoplasty to tighten the loose skin.Good luck,
You may need a tummy tuck especially if the skin is loose. Sometimes revision lipo can resolve the lumpiness. Best to be seen in person.
First of all, congratulations on your liposuction, Jasminaaboud! The sad thing about a liposuction is that if your skin is not elastic enough, you are bound to get excess loose skin after the surgery. But a tummy tuck can address that problem, as this cosmetic procedure involves the removal of loose skin, tightening of abdominal muscles, and elimination of stubborn fat deposits to achieve a better-looking figure. You might also want to have belly button surgery if you’re not happy with the appearance of your navel.Be sure to consult a reputable and board-certified plastic surgeon to get a more personalized assessment on your condition.Good luck!
Thanks for your question. I have my liposuction patients wear a compression garment (faja) covering all treated 24/7 except to shower for 4 weeks post op. This helps ontrol swelling as the compression on your tissues helps your body to reabsorb the edema fluid that accumulates in the ti...
Compression can help reduce swelling and improve final outcomes. Some Doctors recommend them and some don't. I recommend following up with your Doctor about their protocol for compression. My patients use customized compression after their procedure. For liposuction after care, I recommend...
Many patients have a very full Mons - and sometimes a very loose and redundant area that is hidden under the patient's abdominal wall laxity/redundancy. If it is not identified before the abdominoplasty or Around the World belt lipectomy - the patient will have a bulge postoperatively. M...
