At 41 I got greedy and now I look like a boney caricature of myself. Lifted things but aged me and I don't recognize my pretty face. Will things go back? I can't take a decent pic. Spent life modeling etc please beware. Very depressed. Good clinic. Etc can anyone relate to this. Perhaps it melted fat? Did your look return?

My motivation to treat this area came from my husband. The lower face and neck area is difficult to assess because unlike your eyes that you look at in the mirror every day, you only really confront the aging in the neck and lower face area when you look at your profile. My husband's comments drew this to my attention. The procedure went well and without any great pain during and none to... more
In Spring of 2013, Dr. Robert Kessler performed the Ultherapy procedure on my neck and face. I was given a prescription medication to relax me prior to the procedure. Once I arrived at the office of Dr. Robert Kessler, the staff prepared me for the procedure. The Ultherapy procedure is a bit uncomfortable, however, Dr. Robert Kessler conducts the procedure with such professionalism and... more
After a lot of research and several consults with several providers of both Thermage and Ulthera, I made my decision, chose a provider, and had Ultherapy 5 days ago. While I know it's still early, I can tell you that this procedure is very, very, very, painful. I have a very high pain tolerance but this was off the charts painful!!!. I took a Vicodin and 800mg of ibuprofen an hour before as... more
Well, the before and afters showed no change. I was disappointed to see no change at all, yet had steeled myself for the possibility that my age (63 at time of treatment) might influence the outcome. Obviously it did.
It's been a year now as my treatment was Feb 2012, and although I didn't see any visible improvements, I also don't look any older. So I'll take that fact to the bank and... more
I've had Ultherapy before, and it was like a jack hammer pounding my face. The new office I went to numbed my face, then I received tiny anesthetic injections that didn't hurt. When the procedure started; I didn't realize it started as I didn't feel ANY PAIN. I had a very light sensation in my lower neck. more
I have been a big fan of skin tightening treatments. Anyway I can make my skin seem younger, lifted, and tighter is something I want to spend my money on. Doing this vs going under the knife is always a safer option. Slowing down the aging process with this amazing new ultrasound treatment is effective, quick, and safe.
My Ultherapy was 99% pain free. I am only 5 days post treatment, and... more
I decided to do Ultherapy due to the overwhelming response here and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I actually had the procedure done on my lower eye area. I have been fighting under eye hollowness and dark circles for as long as I can remember and so it was recommended to me that I try it out. I actually did two treatments in the under eye area about a month apart. They warned me... more
OK, since I didn't want to take narcotics, I thought I could get by with just Ibuprofen for this procedure. I mean, how bad could it be, right?
WRONG! It hurt like hell. However, Dr. Plechas was supercool, patient, and spent a lot of time on me! He clearly knows what he is doing.
Dr. said it could take up to six months to see complete results, so I will try to be patient. I do... more
One time procedure - full face and neck. Saw immediate results in the cheek area. Even my skeptical husband said he saw changes in my face. Took our own pictures before and after so we could compare. After 1 month substantial lift in the upper eye, under eye and cheeks look great - much improved fuller, lower face - upper parentheses look much better; lower still in progress.
