but have a mommy pouch. I'm scheduled for a tummy tuck. Is firm skin a problem ? I feel like it will be too tough to move around. Does the lipo help thin it out so it can be adjusted. I feel like this might be a silly question but can't find this info anywhere else.

Answer: Tummy tuck Pinch an inch is an expression we use about the extra skin that maybe left after liposuction and repairing your diastasic rectus or weakened abdominal wall. Good luck...

Answer: Tummy tuck Hello and thank you for your question. The best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation. In order to perform a tummy tuck, some skin laxity is needed in order to close your abdomen. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
