Nearly a year ago, I had submental liposuction and buccal fat removal. My doctor took his time explaining the procedure, results, and after care and never pushed me to do anything I didn’t want to do. I opted to do the procedure with only local anesthesia, which was a great option for me. It made my recovery time much shorter, but I wouldn’t recommend it if surgery makes you anxious or squeamish.
