I’m almost 6 week from Surgery and just started getting some irritation with the end of my scar. It is sore to touch like if there was a pimple or ingrown hair. What could this be?

Answer: Possible infection angie,Your surgeon would be the best one to ask as they can examine you to see exactly what is causing the redness and tenderness. That being said, whether it is from a hair or a stitch, you should be using warm soaks and probably an oral antibiotic as well.Best of luck.Dr T
