Iam a 48 year old mother of 3. Planning for years to have a breast augmentation. I choose Dr V out of all the options and my research. From my first interaction and consultation I felt comfortable and trusted him. He provided detailed options for my desired look and was explained the option of adding bodttite to my breast to make my left closer to the right in symmetry. I came back for a second try on what CC I choose and stayed with my 550cc HP options. I booked in my augmentation and will update you after a week of progress. I will upload before and after progress pics then.
Dr Stan was amazing. Unfortunately I was a hard case but he worked with me to make sure I was happy. He said he wasn't happy until I was happy. I had consults in other cities but ended up feeling the most comfortable proceeding with Dr Stan. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. He embraces the latest technologies and techniques which I cannot say for the other Dr's I consulted with. The experience is top notch from the get go. Erin at the first point of contact whom is also compassionate and caring. She's quick to respond to emails and does her best to make things work for everyone. The facility is clean and modern and I really appreciated having my surgery done there rather than in a hospital. The after care from their friendly nursing staff was also second to none. My results in the end are exactly as I wanted thanks to Dr Stan's skill. I couldn't be more thankful.
Highly recommend Stan and his team! I had a breast augmentation done and it went seemlessly even having a blood cloting disorder :) I would't hesitate to go see him again in the future and refer him to any friends that inquire about my set.
After 2 kids and significant weight loss I decided to get a Tummy Tuck. Great decision…GREAT DOCTOR! Dr.Valnicek and his team are top notch. From reception, consultation, nurses, home visits, and the amazing doctor - the experience was better than ever imagined. He is known for leaving minimal scars…he is an artist! Mine is healing nicely so far. Now I’m excited for my upcoming Breast Lift and Augmentation in a few months. I cannot post any pics due to my occupation but I have enjoyed reading other people’s experiences on this site. My experience has been so awesome that I had to write this review. Thank you to you and your team doctor Valnicek! Oh and a shout out to his excellent and hilarious Anesthesiologist Dr.Bruno!
I spent the morning writing a detailed review and thought I had posted it but I think it got deleted. So this will be shorter and if I’m able to successfully post it I’ll add more. I had 500cc over the muscle implants for eight years. Three of those years were spent breastfeeding my son, so they were in need of a lift. I told Dr Valnicek I wanted them to look big, round and fake. Dr Valnicek did a lift, removed 185 mL of my natural tissue and was able to fit the 750cc ultra high profile implant under the muscle. Prior to surgery he was unsure if the 750 would fit but said he’d try to make it work. I felt immediately comfortable with Dr Valnicek. Due to my history of high blood pressure and shortness of breath I was worried about going under. Dr Valnicek had me see a cardiologist, reviewed past medical tests I had done, among other things before doing my surgery. There was a postponing of surgery in there too. He did not operate until he was confident that it was safe to do so. It’s very obvious to me that safety of his patients is his number one priority. Which was also my number one concern. I couldn’t have asked for a doctor who show’s more care and concern for his patients than Dr Valnicek. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the rest of the staff as well. Erin is on the ball. She’s so nice, organized and responds promptly with any question or inquiry I had. The nurses in the office are a treat too. All are so kind, caring and helpful. The whole team is amazing. I am happier each week with the result as they continue to drop. The left is still higher than the right but I’m told to be patient cause it will catch up. Over all I’m happy I went through with the surgery and feel they look much better than they did before. I prefer the under the muscle implant for the fact that they really feel locked in place, like they’re not going anywhere. The overs I had always felt like they needed extra support. I’d never run or hop down stairs without holding my chest in place. I’d definitely recommend Dr Valnicek. So much that I’m booked in for a bbl with him in nine days. Hopefully I’m able to get this review posted and add some pictures now ;) Updated on 20 Apr 2021: I took some pics that I’m able to post finally. I have tried many times. I feel so so much more confident naked in clothes since I’ve had the surgery. I love how supported and perky they feel. I feel like they are dropping into place more in the last week especially.
Dr Valnicek was amazing, I am so happy with my choice in doctor, he answered every question And concern I had and made me feel good and confident about the entire procedure. I left my consultation with no doubts whatsoever. His entire staff was amazing as well, very comforting and tentative. I am only 4 days post OP and am already so happy with my results. Would recommend Dr Valnicek to everyone I know!
This was my second surgery with Dr. Valnicek. He is extremely caring, compassionate & understanding. In my consult, he expressed he will not be done his job until I am 100% happy & he is absolutely a man of his word! I have referred most of my girlfriends to him & everyone who has seen him has expressed the same experience. Very thankful to have Dr. Valnicek as my plastic surgeon. He is a true talented artist!
I'm a 37 yr old mother of 2. I've had large breast my entire life and after 2 pregnancies they need some help. Dr.Stan went over my options and I decided I wanted to stay at my current size. We decided it would be best to remove as much brest tissue as possible and fill the space with an implant. I also needed a lift due to the deflation in my breast. Dr.Stan and his entire staff are absolutely amazing. From the beginning I felt comfortable and taken care of. Erin his associate was knowledgeable and easy to correspond with. The nursing staff on the day of surgery put me at ease and helped me to relax. I'll keep updating my pictures as I go. Updated on 29 Sep 2020: Missed posting this picture of me standing. I'm on day 5 and have only been using advil in the evening. Sleeping upright is killing my upper back, but other than that healing great and taking it very slow and easy. Updated on 4 Oct 2020: 1 week down! Late posting this. Healing had been good so far. I had a couple nervous days about my nipples regaining blood circulation, but my PS suggested Nitro patches. Tried them for one night and the headache was to much to handle after 5 hours. Everything seems great so far. They will look a little scary, but that's normal. Updated on 9 Oct 2020: Well I had a couple nipples issues last week, but everything is healing great and on track. I had my vertical tape removed earlier this week and the tape under my breasts will be removed next week. I've been using another ployspori type ointment and gauze to help with the healing. I also go the all clear to start wearing a regular sports bra. I'm finally getting excited about my breasts and feeling great. Updated on 17 Oct 2020: Went in for my three week appointment and had the tape removed from underneath my breasts. Incisions are healing up great. Scars are minimal already. I was told to wait until 2 months post-op to start scar treatment so I'm reading up on options. So far I'm super happy with my results and hoping they don't settle to much. Loving how perky they are. Updated on 26 Oct 2020: I can't believe how different they look in one month. When I pulled the bandages off I though the healing process was going to take months. They will probably still drop a little. The incision underneath are still soft and there is some tightness, but so far I'm very happy. Updated on 9 Nov 2020: Everything had been going great with recovery. I am seeing my PS this week and i am hoping to be able to start scar treatment. Still taking it slow on my workouts. Have not been doing upper body yet but maybe some light weights next week. Updated on 24 Dec 2020: Hit the 3 month mark and I'm very happy! I tried using the Medela stripes again and again they peeled off the new healing skin. So no more scar tape for me. I've been using vitamin E capsuls and they are working great. I just pop a small hole in the capsule and massage my scars. One capsule covers both breasts. Updated on 19 Feb 2021: Loving how they have settled in. They are the same size as my old floppy boobies, but they fit into my bra so much nicer. Even though I don't need a bra I still prefer to wear one. The scars are looking great and I'm very happy.
I had my surgery 15 months ago and I am very very satisfied by the incredible, esthetic, natural and comfortable result which was very important for me as a 57 years old sporty woman! Dr Valnicek is professional, competent and compassionate. I felt that I was in great hands and I can tell, he's a genius! I was always warmly welcomed by the team. Erin, the nurses I met, were wonderful, very patient, make me feel so comfortable and took great care of me, attentive team, flexible and available for the 3 or 4 appointments that I needed to determine the size that suited me best!!! I was extremely stressed by the surgery and the anesthesia! The anaesthetist was amazing and everything went smoothly, it was excellent I didn’t feel anything! Then the recovery went very well as planned by Dr Valnicek!!! Great experience! Thank you!
All I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so very grateful to have found Doctor V ! After having a tummy tuck done somewhere else and ending up with a Seroma that the surgeon kept throwing steroids into causing it to scar up and not only cause pain and physical deformity but also a lot of emotional insecurity. After two years of her trying to fix it, I got a really bad infection and ended up in the hospital for three days on antibiotics. It was then that I knew I had to find a good doctor. From my first appointment to the surgery and right through recovery I was very happy with doctor V. I will eternally be thankful for my beautiful flat stomach. I look forward to him fixing my breasts now.
Thank you for your question. Overall the liposuction of the hips and back look really good. Y The swelling you experience at this stage is common after tummy tuck. It can be due to seroma cavities, lymphatic obstruction or general fat thickness in the lower flap. Your surgeon is correct in stating that you can only thin that area so a certain degree at the end of the surgery as we are trying to preserve adequate blood flow to the upper edge to minimize healing complications and tissue necrosis. Liposuction to that lower abdominal area can make this even riskier if done concurrently with the tummy tuck. I find that my own patients often have persisting swelling much as you demonstrate once we get past 6 months and the lymphatics have generally had time to recover. It is a shame to come this far without addressing this. Because that lower abdomen is generally numb after tummy tuck, I just bring them back and liposuction it down under local anaesthetic. This can be done safely at this point, has a quick recovery and polishes the result to the point that 99% of patients are happy. I would discuss your options with your surgeon and I am sure they can touch this up for you. Stan Valnicek
Thank you for your question. If your implants are working well for you, there is no need to replace them at any point. An advantage of Saline is that any implant failure becomes rapidly obvious since the implant simply deflates (it is filled with IV fluid on the day of surgery and the body resorbs this fluid if it leaks out of the implant.) Even gel implants can last for decades. My advice for patients is to only replace implants if they are having issues with them or if they want a different size or shape.
Thank you for your question. It sounds like the combination of fat removal with the liposuction and the significant weight loss has created more visibility of the platysmal bands. If the bands are only present with muscle activation, then botox can be helpful in softening their appearance. If present while you are relaxed, then some form of surgery might be needed to soften the contour. It is best to discuss this with your surgeon or any reputable Board Certified plastic surgeon in your community as there are a number of options to try and help with this.
Thank you for your question. At 10 months the swelling from surgery should be gone and the contour is likely fairly stable. The goal of neck liposuction or direct fat excision is a smooth contour extending to the angle of the jaw and sternocleidomastoid muscle on either side. With contouring, you can get some unevenness as things heal for a variety of reasons. I cannot speak specifically to your situation without an in person exam but some speculation can be made based on the photos and my personal experience treating neck fullness. It is also unclear from your submission what specific procedure you had that led to this result (direct excision, liposuction, fat dissolving injections or energy application with RF/laser, etc.). My comments are intended in a general sense and not as specific advice in your case. Central depression can be due to excess fat removal in that zone or inadequate fat removal on either side. Often it is the combination of both. Excess fat removal can lead to tethering of the skin to the underlying muscle or central hollowing. Restoring volume with fat grafting can help although it often needs more that one session. Inadequate fat removal on either side can be dealt with by suctioning a bit more fat laterally and I did that for one of my own patients last year. Some patients might also have contour problems due to thick digastric muscles or hanging submandibular glands. Neck anatomy is complex and optimal definition can require addressing the structures deep to the platysma muscle. Not all surgeons are comfortable with this zone as the risk of complications is higher. For specific recommendations in your case, I would go back to the original surgeon and discuss the contour and how it might be improved. A second opinion with a respected board certified Plastic Surgeon in your area could be useful. You really need a proper exam and evaluation in person to diagnose the underlying issues and develop a safe and solid plan for smoothing area that out.
Thank you for your question. It is not possible to give specific advice without an in person review and proper exam. I will therefore speak a bit more generally based on my personal experience. Patients often come in seeking a neck lift for the correction of neck aging issues. This is understandable since "neck lift" sounds like the proper name for a procedure that fixes the neck. Unfortunately, my own surgical experience (and the advice of some of the best in our field) would suggest that the vector of pull with a neck lift alone will not really fix the skin laxity in the submental region. In my opinion you need to pull that skin up much more vertically and this implies a facelift. A facelift allows for much better anatomical correction of neck issues in general when compared to the "neck lift". I am not implying that other surgeons cannot fix the neck adequately with a neck lift but my 30 years of experience would suggest that I am not one of them. There are additional issues with neck surgery that can occur from uneven or excessive fat removal or lengthy submental scars. This might be some of the cause of irregularity based on the photos you have provided. I am just speculating here and there is no substitute for an actual in person exam to be clear. Post surgical neck irregularity can be quite difficult to fix and in the past I have sometimes had to convert patients to a full facelift with multiple sessions of fat grafting for the neck and jawline when I have done secondary surgery. In milder cases you can sometimes improve the situation with lesser interventions. I would find experienced, reliable and well regarded surgeons in your community and get at least two second opinions before you decide how to proceed moving forward. This is a complex problem in many patients due to multiple surgeries and scar tissue, and multiple opinions can better help define the next optimal step.
