I have not had a diastasis recurrence after hundreds and hundreds of tummy tucks, but logically this could happen. If you can press on your abdomen and it still feels tight, the repair is intact. There are many changes which occur following abdominoplasty, even two months later. The final result may even take six months to show itself. So you are still healing. I don't know exactly how your plastic surgeon performed your operation so any definitive statements would be speculation. My...
Generally patients are able to return to non physically demanding jobs after two or three weeks from surgery. You will still have lifting restrictions in place for up to six weeks. I encourage you to speak with your surgeon as opinions may vary.
