I really don’t want a tummy tuck, I just want lipo. Is that realistic? Major abdominal surgery sounds frightening and painful. Will I still have good results without a TT? Thank you.

Answer: Tummy tuck Hi there, you look to be a great candidate for a tummy tuck procedure. Liposuction will reduce you a little bit but you will still have the extra skin. A tummy tuck will remove the extra skin, tighten the abdominal wall muscles and get you as flat as we possibly can. Based on the photos you have shared, you seem to be a candidate for liposuction and a tummy tuck, as liposuction alone will not address the loose skin or diastasis recti you appear to have. Liposuction alone cannot address either of these concerns. Answer: Liposuction or tummy Tuck? If you only get liposuction you will have less fat, but you will have loose skin that you won't be happy with. A full tummy tuck with muscle tightening will give you the best result. Be sure to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!
