Should I get a second opinion 1.5 weeks after inner thigh lipo and scab? (Photo)

Thank you for your question.  This could be a number of different things including a burn, bruising, reaction to something, and or possible skin necrosis.  I would continue to follow up with your surgeon and if you feel more comfortable seeking a second opinion then by all means do what makes you comfortable.  Make sure you address what your concerns are and how to treat the issue.  Best of luck to you. 

Scabs after lipo are usually caused by  burns (possible with Vaser or laser) or friction from inappropriate garment or very unlikely superficial necrosis of skin usually in heavy smokers

It is impossible to make a diagnosis without seeing you in person, however this looks like a lipo burn, not an allergic reaction.  Perhaps a second opinion may be a reasonable thing.

Most frequent complications this early after liposuction are tromboembolism and cellulitis. It apperas that you had ultrasound scan to rule out tromboemolism? You need a close follow up with your surgeon in this regard, possibly antibiotic coverage if this is soft tissue infection (cellulitis). LisePski.   Sorry you are having this problem, however physical examination is needed to provide a more conclusive answer. It appears from the photograph that you are either having an allergic reaction or localized infection with delayed healing. Follow up with your plastic surgeon, if he or she dismisses you without treatment, you may benefit from a second opinion. Good luck.

It is hard to say what is happening just from the photo.  However, this could be a number of things such as allergic reaction, infection, possible skin necrosis from pressure (too tight of a garment) or from a burn (if Vaser, Laser, Radiofrequency, or other technology used).  I would recommend you get a second opinion with a board certified plastic surgeon immediately because treatment may be needed ASAP.
