What options do I have for skin is not retracting after liposuction?

I am in my 20s so I should have good skin elasticity, but I am now 3 months post liposuction and my skin is still not reattached to the muscle (it is loose and can be pinched). I have been wearing the faja, what other options do I have?

Dear BrittE92,Thank you for posting pictures with your question. After having Lipo we use compression garment and uktrasound massages to help skin tightening. If your skin still loose we recommend to proceed with radiofrecuency massages. You should be patient and wait at least 6-12 month to reconsider another procedure as VASER Lipo to help you retract the skin more. Best wishes.

It would be helpful to know what your BMI was pre-operatively and to see some photos to see what realistic expectations are for you.    You should not expect a lot of "retraction" or skin tightening from liposuction, but if skin elasticity is good, you should do well.      Do give yourself another several months to judge the final result.   If you are looking to do something non-invasive or minimally invasive to improve on the result, consider an external radiofrequency device, or a minimally invasive treatment such as Bodytite or Reunion.

Thanks for the question, I have found that using internal tightening with ionized helium in the plasma system from renuvion really works well tightening the collagen, this can be done under local with minimal downtime!

Dear BrittE92,most plastic surgeons recommend compression garments in order to reduce swelling and promote healing. Some might also recommend lymphatic massages. BrittE92.  I appreciate your concern, but please understand that each individual heels ever covers differently after surgery. Can take as long as six months for all swelling to resolve and skin retraction to occur. Try to stay patient and follow up with your plastic surgeon’s advice. Good luck.

Thanks for the question and provided information as well.
You are still early on the healing process, it can take up to six months to see your final results, so please be patient. 
I suggest my patients to use a full body compression garment, 24/7 for the first 3 months, and after that, for 12 hours a day for 3 more months, to get the best results.
It is important for the compression garment to be very tight, for it to help with the swelling, after surgery. Please, follow up close with your plastic surgeon.

Sorryfor your problem but an examination is needed.  So see your surgeon or other expert in the area and be evaluated in person.  That said there are minimally invasive procedures to help tighten loose skin such as body tight Dr Corbin
