I had liposuction on my inner knees 10 weeks ago. I no longer have any pain except when I bend down on my knees, is this normal? The knees still have a hardness to them which may still be swelling but they dont appear to be swollen. Is this what can be causing my pain?
Answer: Liposuction Recovery Marcie. If you did not have a history of knee pain prior to surgery, then discomfort when kneeling may be caused by residual soreness from liposuction, especially if the upper and inner knee areas were treated. As a precaution, follow up with your plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Answer: I have knee pain after liposuction. Is this normal? I do not typically even offer these areas due to general lack of fat in these areas and increased risk of contour irregularities. However, ankles in particular are more likely to be swollen for longer, more so if you are on your feet and active. Legs can swell to an extent that flexibility is impaired. Long term results may still take 3 to 6 months.

Answer: Pain after LIposuction? Thank you very much for this question! Having some soreness in the area of suction it’s completely normal. However, at 10 weeks it is a long time to have additional or new pain. It is probably better that you check with your plastic surgeon to see what’s going on with the area around your knees!
