After 360 lipo, is stage 2 faja necessary? Are there other options?

I would ask your plastic surgeon about garments and the duration of wear, because each plastic surgeon will have a different protocol.   The patients who tend to have healing issues with larger volume liposuction procedures tend to be the ones who do not wear the compression garments at all, wear them very inconsistently, or do not wear them snugly covering all areas of liposuction. 
Our office provides our lipo patients with an adjustable compression garment.  The  patients like the support it provides to the back and to the abdomen.  The only complaint I have heard is related to the "itchiness" of the fabric which can be remedied by wearing a soft t-shirt under the garment.

you need to talk to your phsyician, it seems like you werent giving the right after care instructions.
If you are unhappy with your results please speak to your physician and ensure he was a full body VASER HD liposuction physciain wtih expensive experience in body shaping and not just traditional fat reduction.  At this point you should be using compression, RF treatments like venus legacy / exilis ultra / inmode forma or contoura and lymphatic massage to get you through healing.   We always add shock wave therapy such as cellutone, z wave, and eclipse evive to help prvent scar tissue formation and ensure an even and smooth result. It will take 6-12 months to see the final outcome.   If you are unhappy you can get a revision procedure by an expert in VASER HD lipo.  Best, Dr. Emer.

In the first 2 to 4 weeks after surgery, the garment prevents fluid pockets (seromas) and excessive bruising. After that, garments minimize the swelling so that you will see your final results faster.That said, the best garment is one you will wear consistently. It should be tight enough to be compressive but loose enough not to leave dents in your skin. As long as those criteria are met, the specific choice of Spanx vs surgical garment vs faja is not as important.  

NewbieHere.   The primary reason why we recommend elastic garments after liposuction is to speed up recovery by modestly compressing the areas treated to decrease swelling and allowed skin to contract and redrape. The garments should be snug, but not uncomfortably tight.  After the initial 2 to 4 weeks after surgery, more comfortable garments such as Spanx are just as effective as the more complicated garments that you are describing. Discuss these issues with your board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck.

Always best to discuss your postoperative care with your chosen operative surgeon. From your previous 2 posts you seem NOT to have been given adequate postop instructions nor care..

I typically have patients wear a stage 1 garment, and then go directly into either spanks or a similar type of compression garment. You may want to look into a mini tummy tuck procedure that combines both liposuction with laser, radiofrequency (RF), or acoustic therapy to produce the best balance of fat reduction and skin tightening and smoothing for your body type and anatomy. For the last 12 years, we have been developing a proprietary technique that we call IDEAL Liposuction. First off, all devices and instruments used are FDA-approved, unlike some of the liposuction and fat transfer devices being used today. These procedures are usually performed in the office, with only local anesthesia. We typically use Smart / Laser Liposuction or VASER (ultrasound) to reduce dense, fibrous fat, and stimulate collagen formation; Radiofrequency-based skin tightening to maximize skin contraction; and Ultrasound, RF, or subcision (Z Wave, Venus, Cellfina) to treat cellulite. Patients go home the same day as surgery, do not need any narcotics postop for pain control, and can return to light exercise and work two days after their procedure. In my practice, we select the appropriate treatment for each patient based on their skin quality, amount of fat and surgical goals.
