Botox for permanent wrinkles removal?

I saw a plastic surgeon for consultation last week about Botox. She told me that if I get Botox every 3 months for a year (4 times total) then my wrinkles between my eyebrows will be gone forever. No surgery is needed. Is that true? I thought Botox is temporary not fixing the problem permanently?
