During my medical training, I developed a strong interest in cosmetic surgery. I completed an additional year of specialized training and a cosmetic surgery fellowship. I am dedicated to cosmetic excellence for all of my patients. We have a warm, welcoming office and we look forward to meeting you.
I came to Dr Castellano as a 59 year old woman who had previously had a tummy tuck with muscle repair, and a breast lift with saline implants. Those surgeries were 20 years ago. Since then, I gained and lost 100 lbs. I had loose skin below by belly button, and I still had a lot of stretch marks, just lower on my stomach than before. My implants unfortunately bottomed out fairly early after my first surgery. A lot of Drs don't like to make repairs to other Drs work. Dr Castellano is not one of those Drs. He never criticized the previous Dr, he just talked about what he thought he could do. He did a second tummy tuck, replaced the 20 year old implants and did a "tuck up" to fix the bottoming out. I am only 3 weeks post op. I have had a very easy recovery. It is not without pain, it's major surgery. But my pain control was adequate and my body heals well. The worst bruising was from the IV. I am still healing but so far the results exceed my expectations. The office is clean and contemporary, the staff is exceptional. His fellow, Dr Pallacio, is fantastic. Dr Castellano is vastly more talented than the first surgeon was.
I have wanted a breast reduction for 20 years and I finally got one! I called three providers who would file the claim with my insurance to have the reduction covered. My first impression on the phone with any doctor’s office makes my decision to see that doctor. If a doctor’s staff is rude, it tells me a lot. All three providers I called had a rude person answering the phone. So, needless to say I didn’t choose any of those doctors. One didn’t even have before/after photos, so that doctor was absolutely not going to be a choice. I was starting to get discouraged. Every day on the way to work, I pass a billboard advertising Dr. Castellano. I considered it a sign (no pun intended) to give his office a call. The young woman who answered the phone was so cheery and friendly. She let me know the doctor did not accept insurance for a breast reduction. But, I came for the consultation anyway. The entire office staff is fantastic! My first impression of Dr. Castellano was that he was extremely focused on the task at hand and not that friendly. However, he answered all my questions and gave me a clear understanding of the procedure. I had seen the before/after photos online and I was very impressed. It was 10k out of pocket but so worth it! He did an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL job on my breasts! I got a breast reduction and breast lift. I went from a size 38 I to a size 38 B. It was a big job and Dr. Castellano knew exactly what he was doing. During my follow up appointments, Dr. Castellano was very personable and also very gentle in his approach. He has a good sense of humor too. So don’t be put off by your initial consultation. He’s just focused on your procedure and what he can do for you on that visit. He and his staff are the absolute BEST in the Tampa and surrounding area!
Five hours post op, feeling fine! Had local , so I’m sure that helped. I can already see bruising, not surprising! Trying to find a way to add original pics but hoping to send progress pictures because not a lot available to understand the bruising expectations.
Let me start this review off as bluntly as possible. Dr. Castellano is God’s gift to the women of Tampa. After researching cosmetic surgeons in the area, with zero personal references, I chose Dr. Castellano to perform my avelar tummy tuck. He did an incredible job! Not only do I love my results (goodbye mama kangaroo pouch!) but my scarring is minimal. Truly, I have nothing but a fine line reminding me that I did something for MYSELF for once. Had I known he was going to be this fantastic, I would have done more. As long as he is practicing, no other surgeon will touch me. And as far as the office staff goes, they are top notch as well. Everyone is warm and friendly, but most importantly, knowledgeable. Pam was an absolute angel throughout the entire process. If you are looking for beautiful results, look no further than this practice.
I went to Dr. Castellano's office for a consultation for a Mommy Makeover. I had another consult scheduled, but after meeting with Pam and Dr. Castellano, I knew I met my doctor. He gave me realistic expectations and was able to do exactly what I was looking for. After going home and speaking with my husband, I scheduled the surgery right away. I ended up having a tummy tuck with muscle repair, lipo of the flanks, breast lift, and breast augmentation. Recovery was a breeze and I am thrilled with my results. My only regret was not getting this done sooner. I highly recommend Dr. Castellano!
I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Castellano and his staff. Pam is absolutely amazing at being open with you and answering any questions you may have. Never once did she make me feel like I was a burden for asking so many questions. Jennifer, who is the nurse working with Dr. Castellano, is also wonderful. She helped calm my anxiety the day of the procedure and has been super helpful every time I have seen her at my post-op appointments. Dr. Castellano himself takes the time to make sure you are getting what you desire and his attention to detail is impeccable. I am SO happy with my breast augmentation by Dr. Castellano and will absolutely be using him for any future procedures I decide to have.
My second surgery was done in Tampa Fl I had silicone implants. My surgeon here in Tampa Dr Castellano was by far the best plastic surgeon I have ever been to. (For Botox, fillers and now Tummy tuck and BA revision) Updated on 3 May 2020: My previous experience in NY with my first Trans abdominal BA and LIPO after I had capsular contracture I searched for many reviews before I found my new surgeon. Dr Castellano was amazing. I highly recommend this practice for Botox, fillers and I have had a wonderful result with my BA revision and my Tummy Tuck. The whole team are very friendly and professional and I have had only positive experiences since I started going there.
Dr. Castellano and his team were absolutely amazing. I always felt very comfortable and love the work I had done. The appointments were very easy to book and I never had to wait to long. I would definitely recommend!
He’s Is simply a gifted surgeon who hasn’t lost his personality or sense of humor. He still does my Botox for me even though he has two superb injectionists. That’s customer service. His staff are fantastic. It’s the only place I will go. And yes I am that picky.
I’ve had my breast augmentation done by Dr. Castellano and I am beyond happy with my results! His staff are all very welcoming and comforting as well. Castellano is very short and too the point but gets things done right. Highly recommend.
Because the steroids used to treat rheumatoid arthritis and the active components of BOTOX function within the body very differently, there should be no impact on the results of your BOTOX because of your RA medication. I would, however, be sure to double check with your doctor and an experienced, qualified BOTOX injector to let each of them know of your situation. There should be no drug interaction, but it's always important to be completely up front about your medical history.
You will need to make sure you're completely healed from your microneedling treatment before pursuing BOTOX. This can take around 3 to 5 days, depending on the degree of your microneedling and your own individual healing. Make sure when you're scheduling your BOTOX injections that you mention your microneedling and that you're choosing a qualified, experienced injector. Be ready to reschedule your BOTOX if you arrive and your injector determines that you're not fully healed from microneedling enough for injection.
Some degree of asymmetry is normal – and even attractive – in every face. BOTOX, however, can help correct any muscular asymmetry you're uncomfortable with. If the asymmetry in your jaw is skeletal rather than muscular, though, BOTOX may not be your best bet. Schedule a consultation with a qualified provider who can administer BOTOX to determine the reason for your mandibular asymmetry and discuss the options – BOTOX or other – that could help you achieve the facial symmetry you're after.
Though your request is a little bit unusual (most people want to avoid a hooded eye), the right placement of BOTOX could help lower your brow and achieve the results you're looking for. The most important consideration in this case is finding a reputable, qualified and experienced injector that can give you the results you're after. Schedule a consultation and talk through exactly the "hooded eye" look you're after to learn what your options for the best placement of BOTOX might be.
I'm sorry to hear you've had trouble with your JUVEDERM® injections. Occlusions can occur. I'm glad your injector was able to resolve the issue quickly. After you've completely healed, you should be able to pursue further injections should you so choose. It may be worth scheduling a consultation with another injector for a second opinion in regards to your injection placement. Be sure you're completely healed before you consider more injections and best of luck!.
