CoolSculpting can treat the area right below the buttocks. This area is sometimes referred to as the banana roll.

Does CoolSculpting not work on everyone?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

Some individuals experience amazing results with CoolSculpting and some individuals feel disappointed. Two of the biggest influences on your results is 1) if you are a good candidate for CoolSculpting and 2. How many treatments you receive. The fact that you lost a few inches after one session is very impressive. Most patients require several sessions to achieve their desired aesthetic. You may need additional sessions on your abdominal area to see further fat reduction.

Is it safe to do CoolSculpting on the face?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

CoolSculpting is FDA cleared to remove fat from the submental region (the chin and neck area.) It cannot treat the face. Schedule a consult with a fat reduction specialist. They can help you determine if there is any treatments available for achieving your desired aesthetic.

There is absolutely no indication that suggests CoolSculpting can lead to cancer. CoolSculpting triggers apoptosis, a normal process of cell death and removal that the body goes through as a controlled part of its growth and development.

The smaller CoolSculpting applicators, such as the Cool mini, can be used to reduce fat deposits above the knees. Good luck in your search to find the best fat reduction treatment for you.

This is a great question. Both CoolSculpting and Liposuction decrease the amount of fat cells from a given treatment area. However, CoolSculpting accomplishes this using cryolipolysis. Basically, controlled cooling chills the fat cell, causing it to rupture. The fat cell is no longer able to store fat. This flags  it for apoptosis (cell death and removal.) The lymphatic system collects the ruptured fat cells and removes them from the body as waste. So CoolSculpting eliminates the actual cell, not just the fat inside.

As far as I know, there is no way to spot reduce, or selectively shrink fat cells.

Fortunately no. The destroyed fat cells are collected by the lymphatic system and removed from the body in the form of waste.

The good new is: its unlikely you have a virus. Although, if you are really concerned about that, I would recommend seeing a doctor. The bad news is, if you really want to get rid of you undereye bags, cosmetic surgery, such as a Blepharoplasty (lower eyelid surgery) is your best bet. Cheek and under eye fillers may help the appearance of under eye bags, but the results are minimal compared to the results you will see from surgery, and are temporary.

Generally, most patients are fine returning to their normal activities, including exercise, after 24 hours of their Juvederm treatment. However, I understand that scuba diving deserves special consideration due to the changes in pressure. As long as there is no swelling, I would assume scuba diving would be fine 9 days after Juvederm, but the only way to get reliable advice on this matter is to contact your provider and ask them.

Spiritless eyes is very disconcerting, but without a picture, I am not sure exactly what effect you are trying to describe with inexpensive, lifeless and spiritless. . You should definitely contact your Botox provider and let them know about your concerns. In rare cases, Botox administered in the brow area can spread to adjacent muscles and cause something called Ptosis, which looks like a droopy eyelid. Botox can also cause the brow muscles to push down onto the eyelid space, causing the eyelids to look heavy. These side effects are rare, and  dissipate as the Botox wears off.

All Around Stellar Experience.

Dr King offers an all around stellar experience with her treatments. I’ve been going to her on an ongoing basis for the past couple of years and am very happy. She is extremely knowledgeable, smart and always provides very up to date information and assessments of new and past treatments . She’s also conscientious, kind and honest; I always feel I’m optimizing my time and resources whenever I see her or move forward with recommendations. The results have been nothing short or incredible and I’d recommend her implicitly.

Bespoke Approach, Honest Assessment

Dr. King has been my dermatologist for over 10 years now. She is an incredible doctor. Her resume (Harvard, Columbia, Weill Cornell) and skin (flawless) are reason alone to go see her. Dr. King tailors her extensive knowledge and experience to your specific skin type and needs and takes the time to explain the pros and cons of each procedure/protocol. As I grow older, I increasingly feel the need to do more, more, more. Dr. King does what she feels is right for you. She will tell you when she doesn't think you need to do something which I greatly appreciate. She keeps you looking youthful, fresh and natural looking, NOT frozen, plastic and overdone. I cannot recommend Dr. King enough.

Fantastic Doctor! Highly Recommend!

Dr. King is an exceptional doctor. She is knowledgeable, caring, and takes her time in explaining everything. Her skills in cosmetic dermatology are superb. She is a leader in the latest aesthetic and rejuvenation treatments. I have been a patient for the last 8 years and have had Botox, fillers, laser treatment and hair removal. I recently had Botox and fillers and instantly noticed a difference and my face has a more youthful, well rested look. She has also treated me for acne. I could not be happier and would recommend her to everyone.

A thank you to Dr. King!

I have been seeing Dr. King for 10 years now. I would not go to any other doctor ever-period. She is one of the most intelligent, kind, truthful and skilled doctors I have met. As a woman who has recently turned 50-my self-image is always a work in progress. Dr. King has actually had a positive impact on my self-esteem. I have gone so far as to want to try something and she has gently recommended a better alternative which at times has even been to wait! Dr. King takes her time with her patients, she listens, which is so important. She is always reachable for questions or concerns. There is not a female friend that hasn't asked me how I am able to get cosmetic procedures yet never once look "done". That conversation almost always ends with me giving them her phone number. There have been people who have gone to her after being very disappointed with other doctors and now will not go to anyone else. Dr. King is someone I respect as a doctor but just as important-a human being!
