miraDry - is this treatment effective if prior Botox injections haven't worn off yet?

Hi Vanessadoll.I have used MiraDry when Botox has been working and when its effect has run out. The mechanism of action is different between the two products. MiraDry is effective in reducing 75 to 82% of the sweat permanently in just one treatment. I have effectively treated patients who recently had botox with great success.  The sweat glands are destroyed by the heat generated from MiraDry regardless of botox so it shouldn't matter. 

Hi there, There is no contraindication with getting miraDry, even if the Botox results have not worn off. We have many patients that have converted to miraDry to permanently address the sweating and odor issues. Its much most cost effective because within a year or so, the amount of money you spent on Botox, could pay for 2 miraDry treatments, which a permanent.
