At this point in time miraDry is only FDA approved for the underarms, I have heard though that it is still being reviewed by the FDA for the hands & feet

From what Miramar, the company that makes miraDry, tells us, they should have the protocols in place soon to treat the hands and feet. This is obviously a concern for many people. Stay tuned.

miraDry is only approved for the underarms (axilla). In the future, I am sure the makers of miraDry will be coming out with a treatment similar to address excessive sweating to the hands and feet. For now, my PA's and NP do Botox to those areas for temporary relief. Hope this helps.

MiraDry reduces underarm sweat by 82% as well as reducing odor. The swelling varies from patient to patient. We recommend arnica after each treatment we offer. the swelling will resolve.
MiraDry is permanent but can be performed without any problem after Botox or even while the effect from Botox is still in place. Botox works for only 6-8 months and then needs to be repeated.
