Juvederm Ultra and Volbella can both be used to plump up the lips. I find that Juvederm Ultra helps to plump up the lip more than Volbella. This does not mean that one product is better than the other; the choice on which product to use depends on how much fuller you want your lips to be. Be sure to make a consultation with an expert injector.

Botox can be used to treat underarm sweating but it wears off, typically in 3 to 6 months. MiraDry will permanently reduce underarm sweating. You do not have to wait for the Botox to wear off to do MiraDry treatment.

The best way to numb the area for MiraDry is tumescent lidocaine. Not only does it do a great job of numbing the entire area, but the excess saline/fluid used helps act like a cushion to protect deeper structures. A nerve block is not recommended.

MiraDry is an excellent device used to reduce underarm sweating. For a couple of weeks after treatment with MiraDry there is some mild swelling that may relate to the symptoms you are feeling 1 week post treatment. This sensation should improve within a few weeks to a month or two. Be sure to speak to your treating physician about the side effects. For now, you can apply a small amount of moisturizing cream such as CeraVe or Eucerin.

MiraDry has been FDA cleared to treat sweating in the armpit area. There are studies with a different handpiece to assess treatment of sweating in other areas of the body but this has not come out yet. For now, Botox injections can be tried to help sweating in groin area.
