Dr. Perlman and his staff was amazing from the consultation all the way through surgery as well as recovery. I love my breast augmentation and I 10/10 recommend him for anything you may need. Himself and staff did not disappoint me.
Had procedure in office. My PS does traditional lipo before bodytite. It wasn’t to terribly bad but there were areas the tumescent irrigation did not numb and thise areas were quit painful when doing the liposuction. The bodytite had some areas where it really burned a lot. Post op pain was minimal. Basically Tylenol helps. I noticed that once I started increasing my activity the pain got worse. I am over a week out and noticing some lumps. I will be doing lymphatic massage once I reach 2 weeks post op. I have been wearing my garment 24/7 except for bathing and when I wash it. As of this morning my numbers on the measuring tape have not changed. I hope that they do!!!
Tired of no jawline and my double chin so finally doing something about it 9/13/17. Dr Perlman recommended a chin implant as well which I have been told my whole life in need so taking care of both same procedure. He did an amazing job on my lower torso smart lipo so I'm excited to see the results from this procedure. I'm positive it will look amazing but I'm not putting my opinion on worth it or not until procedure is performed.Updated on 22 Sep 2017: Had to reschedule due to Hurricane Harvey flooding Dr Perlmans office. No new date has been set yet. Updated on 6 Aug 2018: Little nervous but picked up meds and everything is ready for Wednesday. Gonna take a week off work so hope that is enough time to recover. Updated on 8 Aug 2018: Stage 1Updated on 8 Aug 2018: Dr Perlman, Debbie and Ana did an excellent job today keeping me comfortable and confident. Zero problems no pain or discomfort at anytime during or after the procedure. I ate a burger right after we left then took 2 hour nap totally uneventful, only used ibuprofen for my neck. It feels like I slept wrong so lightly sore but that’s it. You guys have seen hundreds of bandaged chins so I’ll spare you another one. Can’t wait to go back in a week and see the results. Highly recommend Dr Perlman and his staff for this or any other procedure you are researching.
I was motivated and ready for the arm lift because I was way over due. I didn't know how I was going to pay for it but Dr. Perlman had to financing options available and I was able to get approved by one of them. Dr. Perlman is a very skillful doctor. I say that to inform everyone that after sugery, I didn't have ANY PAIN when I got home. He called me and gave me his personal mobile phone when I had got home from the hospital. It is just uncomfortable. Everyone at the office is great they make you feel very comfortable and at home.
My experience was fantastic with the doctor himself. Doctor Perlman's bedside manner is very comforting and he puts you at ease from the outset. Debbie, his nurse is a doll and very knowledgeable about the procedures. The entire staff is simply awesome, very helpful, professional, personable and very, very sweet ladies. I highly recommend Dr. Perlman and his entire staff...AND - my results are amazing!
Wanted to post my smart lipo experience here so hope this will help someone out here considering having this procedure performed. I workout a few times a week and have always watched my diet but at my age I can't lean out my midsection. Hoping to lose some inches and get back my body I had when I was younger. Updated on 14 Jun 2017: Surprisingly calm and ready, just took my Ultram with some fruit and taking my Ativan as I get to the office. So ready for this happy and excited !!!! Updated on 14 Jun 2017: Did my back first and took out 1000cc's, now waiting for anesthesia to take effect on front and finish. Zero pain, zero issues been easy procedure all the way. Dr Perlman is very gentle and meticulous as he explains very step as it's being performed. Updated on 14 Jun 2017: 1800 cc's removed , went way better than I ever dreamed it could have been. Dr Perlman, Debbie and Erica were very professional and attentive to my every need. Very smooth procedure , can't wait to heal up and lipo my chin area. Updated on 14 Jun 2017: Pretty heavy draining, already had to tighten up binder twice. Going to change these pads tonight, no way they I'll make it till tomorrow. Will update pics tomorrow too. Updated on 15 Jun 2017: I think I'm though draining so took off my binder to wash all the drainage out. No real pain just slight uncomfortable but parts that were treated are still numb. I took updated pics but remember this is less than 24 hours after procedure so still marked up and swollen. Updated on 16 Jun 2017: Starting to bruise a bit, taking all my meds plus arnica gel and tablets to help. Having a massage at 9am so hope that will attribute to more positive results. Overall very happy with everything. Dr Perlman personally called me to see how I was healing but I was asleep. So far slight soreness but nothing unbearable, only taking ibuprofen. Wearing my compression shirt at times to sleep when my binder is to uncomfortable. Updated on 19 Jun 2017: Updated pics, slight bruising coming in. I think the skin discoloration is either from bruises healing or Arnica gel. I put the gel where there was no bruise and it still got discolored. Lower abs rock hard but everything feels smooth. Last night I slept with no CG and was soooo nice. Dr Perlman did an amazing job and I highly recommend anyone contemplating smart lipo to go see him. It's worth the travel if needed to insure your money is well spent and the job is done right. Updated on 20 Jun 2017: I think the Arnica gel discolored my bruises, not wearing my binder like I should but in compression shirt most of day. Sleep with no cg last few nights. Moving better but till sore and bruises appear to be going away. Tomorrow is first post op so I'll see what Dr Perlman has to say. Updated on 22 Jun 2017: Went yesterday for my post op and he said everything was healing perfectly. The discoloration on my skin is just the bruises healing up. My incision sites are almost gone and I'm pretty moving back to normal. Still slightly numb and hard but seeing big improvements every morning when I wake up. Very very pleased with everything, Dr Perlman is truly a blessing to the PS community!!! Updated on 28 Jun 2017: My bruises have healed but I'm still slightly numb and swollen. Two small soft lumps on my stomach but that's just part of the healing process. Started getting lymphatic massages twice a week and that really helps. I wore my binder on and off first 3-4 days then switched to compression shirt. Need to get my diet straight because I'm still pounding down soft drinks and not exactly eating healthy. My waist is 3.5 inches smaller and I'm 6-7 lbs lighter, I don't care about weight or measurements but those are two main questions I get asked. Feel free to ask me anything, still very happy with Dr Perlmans work and results are improving every few days. Updated on 12 Jul 2017: Haven't been eating right at all, even worse diet than before procedure but I'm still getting smaller every day. Probably gonna schedule my chin smart lipo my next post op visit. Very pleased with Dr Perlman and his work he did. Has definitely improved my life in many ways. All my cloths fit way better and my general day to day life much easier. Even small things like bending over to tie my shoes is noticeably easier. My incisions are healed and you have to look very hard to find where he went in. He recommended neosporin for first week then mederma and they worked wonders on healing process.
Dr pearlman did a small eye lid surgery on me 2 years ago and now I'm going back on June 14 for Smart Lipo of my abs and flanks. Used to be scared of procedures but now I'm very excited and ready to heal up so I can have few more procedures performed. After the smart lipo I plan on also have rhinoplasty and a chin implant. Dr pearlman and his staff are very professional and accommodating in every way. Have been patient with me asking a million questions I'm sure they have answered thousands of times. I highly recommend him for any procedure you are considering having done.
My experience with Dr. Perlman was phenomenal! I was apprehensive about my procedure in the beginning, however, the result was exactly what I hoped for and exactly what I was envisioning. Dr. Perlman and his staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and have your best interest in mind at all times. The entire office staff is quite friendly and you feel at ease immediately when you walk through the doors. Dr. Perlman and his nurse, Debbie, were there to answer all my questions before and after surgery. I even had a personal phone call from Dr. Perlman the evening of my procedure, checking on my well being. Without a doubt I would recommend Dr. Perlman, great experience!
Dr. Perlman did a wonderful job on my breast augmentation surgery and liposuction with minimally invasive incisions which I expressed was a top priority for me. His staff was amazingly helpful as well, always available for my questions before and after the surgery and conventiently helpful over the phone. I would highly recommend him & his staff to everyone I know.
I have had laser resurfacing not only on my face but also my neck, chest, arms, and knees from Dr. Pearlman. He is amazing and you feel warmly welcomed. You ask for it and he makes it happen. I had tanned for a long time and wanted my skin refreshed. The results exceeded my expectations.
Recovery from liposuction is pretty quick. Most patients take Advil for a few days. I have my patients up and walking that day. They can return to work or school in one or two days. I recommend compression garments for 3-4 weeks
I tell my patients that 60% of the swelling is gone in 3 weeks, but the other 40% may take 3 months. I have my patients wear compression garments for 4 weeks. You may have some areas that are lumpy, from fibrosis(thickening of tissue due to the trauma from liposuction). That will resolve. If there are some residual fat pockets, your plastic surgeon can revise them, usually with a syringe or a chemical such as lipodissolve or Aqualyx
Eyelid skin is 1/7th as thick as cheek skin.Amuch thinner filler such as Silk or Volbella is better to use. The proper dose for hyaluronidase is somewhere around 30 U for each 1/4 cc of filler used.Juvederm Ultra requires a little more in my opinion
There are different degrees of tummy tuck, depending on how much fat there is,how loose the muscles are and how much loose skin needs to be removed. You will have to be careful picking up the 2 yr old, if your have the standard type of tummy tuck. Consult with a board certified plastic surgeon as to what your goals are and what the surgeon would recommend
I have performed facelifts on over 1000 patients. The youngest was 35 and her face was on billboards . My oldest was a 92 yr old who closed her law practice at 89. She stills sends me Christmas cards 6 years later. Most patients start looking for treatment in their late 40's. There are a few good minimally invasive procedures ,such as Facetite ,that I use for the younger ,minimally sagging neck and jawline. I also use fillers and fat grafts to restore volume to the cheeks
