I am looking at injectables to temporarily fix a 'gummy smile' (before looking at more permanent solutions) If I get injections to stop my upper lip from raising too high, will this mean I won't have the full function and movement of my mouth? And will it therefore interfere with the use of my mouth? Eating, drinking and kissing being concerns. Also will talking be more difficult?

It sounds all great but it is not at all good. The treatment is freezing and dropping muscles that you absolutely need to have working. It is extremely dysphoric and debilitating to have these muscles frozen with botox. Unfortunately it will take months for this effect to wear off.
