There are not enough superlatives to describe Dr Erin Smith, from her pleasant bedside manner to her expertise in facial reconstruction. She will make you look like your younger, natural self/nothing artificial. I had consults with several plastic surgeons & she, by far, impressed me the most. I am so happy I chose her to do my procedure! Just have a consult w/her- you will not be disappointed.
Oh my - how could you not have surgery at Buckingham Surgery Center with Dr. Smith. The staff, the care, the expertise; they are all exceptional. My case was complicated and Dr. Smith exceeded my expectations.
I had a double hanging waddle under my neck that I despised -and spent most of 2020/2021 staring at thanks to Zoom. I finally got the money bd courage to get it done. The surgeons I consulted with all suggested a temporal brow lift as I have a heavy forehead. I was super worried about Not looking like myself, or looking like I've had work done but I finally decided to go ahead. I am only 2 1/2 weeks out and still have some swelling -and one eye seems not as lifted as the other (I've contacted the doctor) but I'm thrilled with the neck/lower face!! Updated on 26 Sep 2021: Still thrilled With the results, here are some more recent pictures. The Temporal scar is about a quarter sized. With light/thin hair you could see it if you looked but it can be covered and is fading. The tightness in the neck has gone an left a softer/natural look. Not as tight but also not as tight lol but I wanted natural.
Hi, Yours is a very common concern! The most noticeable conbributing factor is the formation of grooves calld tear troughs, which can be tricky to treat. Options include dermal fillers (temporary with variable treatment duration) versus under eye surgeries involving fat transposition from the cheek vs transfer from elsewhere. I recommend seeing a board certified surgeon in-person for further evaluation. Hope this helps!
Hi, I would be hard pressed to suggest one particular technique as best, as both the deep plane and high SMAS approaches may be effective in the right hands. I recommend seeing a board certified surgeon and reviewing their before and after photos before making your selection, as these will inform your anticipated result. Hope this helps!
Hi Nicole, Thanks for your question. TMJ Botox can help with TMJ related pain and can also help to slim the masseter muscle, which contributes to fullness along the posterior jawline in some patients. Side effects are rare withbut may include facial asymmetry, oral dryness, and difficulty chewing and may be related to the total dose used. As always, I recommened seeing a board certificied physician in-person for further treatment evaluation. Hope this helpful!
Hi, thanks for question. Many patients undergo rhinoplasty to accomplish your goals without having surgery on their turbinates. The turbinates warm and humidify air and I would not recommend a turbinate reduction if you do not have trouble breathing through your nose. Hope this helps!
Hi, thanks for your question! In general, options for tear trough management include 1) Dermal fillers such at Restylane 2) Fat grafting (usually taken from the abdomen, thigh, or gluteal region) and 3) Lower blepharoplasty with fat repositioning. Surgical treatments tend to be more durable, but some patients find it helpful to trial filler (which is shorter lasting) before comitting to a procedure. As always, I recommend consulting in person with your physician before making any treatment decisions. Hope this is helpful!
