Based upon your photo, I think you would be a great candidate for the EMsculpt Neo because it can help to reduce some fat in the abdomen while toning the muscles in the abdomen to give you more definition and perhaps a more sculpted abdomen. There is another applicator that can help with the love handles. This applicator also can give more definition in the abdominal obliques. The fat reduction with the Emsculpt Neo is less than Coolsculpting but it does not involve cold technology and it helps provide muscle toning which Coolsculpting does not provide.
Thank you for submitting your photos and your concerns. Based upon your photos, I do believe injecting Botox in the Massenter muscle can help your face achieve a slimmer face in the lower face. It will slim the face so the face is less square. Many of my Asian patients like this effect. The effect will be balanced and symmetric. I do think it has a net positive effect on the "chubby cheeks" since the lower face is not as wide. I don't think this will provide more symmetry however since your face is fairly symmetric. In terms of your chin, I cannot tell unless I see your chin profile to be able to tell if you could benefit from a chin filler. I would recommend you come in for in consult consultation to have full face evaluation to have the best overall recommendations.
In reviewing your photos provided, I do think you can help this area without surgery. It would take a comprehensive approach which would include not only fillers in the marionette lines (corner of mouth but also the line that goes towards the jawline) but also you will need to help lift the corners by also addressing the sunken cheeks (which will help to lift the corners) and also some product (ie Sculptra) to help lift the lower face which will also help to lift the marionette lines. If you try only to fill the corners, you probably wouldn't see much improvement plus it is possible to be overfilled here which is probably why you had a bad experience. If you are able to do an in person consultation, I could show you more easily the effects of lifting the cheeks and lower face and how that would help the marionette lines. Good luck.
I like to use Restylane or Restylane Refyne in this area to help with the hollowness. The most important thing to have a great result is good injection technique (injecting in the right plane/depth) and when done properly these products look smooth and in many cases the dark circles resolve. The "injection technique" is learned and perfected by doing countless number of patients and procedures.
I think if you want to have an hourglass shape you would need to add some fat around the hips to get that. For that you would need to gain weight ie 15-20 lbs and they would transfer that fat to the desired areas. A lot of people are really uncomfortable about having to gain that weight to achieve this. Otherwise, the Emsculpt with the lateral side adapter may help to lessen the fat around the love handles and flanks. I don’t think Coolscupting would be the right choice.
