I recently 4 weeks ago had revision. I had a breast uplift with implants last year but the nipples were not symmetrical and my surgeon agreed to a revision to make them equal. However I can’t see a difference at all, can I have some guidance as to how to proceed? I want to know your opinions on whether you think the breast will drop into place to be symmetrical. I’m so down about it all so far costing me £10,500 for something I am not happy with at all. Please help!
Answer: Elevation of the left nipple/areolar complex is the simplest solution. The easiest way forward is to elevate your left nipple/areolar complex to better match the right side. It is very difficult to lower your right nipple/areolar complex, as to do so would require creating an opening above the nipple/areolar complex as it is shifted downward and this opening would need to be closed. This scar would sit above the new level of the nipple areolar area. Elevating the left side would allow closure of the new incisions in the area where there are already incision lines, and therefore would blend in very well. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast revision Thanks for your question. Based on your photos, it looks like your nipple to fold distance on the right breast is much longer than the left, with the right nipple sitting higher. It is unlikely that you will get better symmetry over time, as it is unlikely that one side will change relative to the other. If your priority is symmetry, I would recommend raising the nipple that sits lower using your pre-existing scar pattern. There are also techniques to lower the higher nipple, but these are generally less reliable.

Answer: Breast lift, breast reduction, breast augmentation, breast implants, mastopexy, breast implant Hi, thank you for your question regarding a breast revision to lift your nipple. I appreciate the pictures and the history you provided. Answering this question is challenging without a thorough physical examination and your initial preoperative pictures. Nonetheless, based on the limited information, I can offer the following advice: I suggest lifting your lower breast. In the pictures provided, the breast on the right-hand side appears lower. It's unclear if the picture is taken in a mirror; regardless, my recommendation is to lift the lower breast. Lifting the lower breast is generally easier than lowering the higher breast. Repositioning the entire breast will also relocate the nipple. The original pictures are important as they show the foundation of your breast, which is crucial. It's possible that the foundation of your breast was naturally lower than the other. Although it may be challenging, it's not impossible to change this surgically. Another option might be to reduce the lower breast size before lifting it. In any case, focusing on the lower breast with a breast lift seems to be the most suitable approach. I hope this clarifies the surgical approach needed to correct your asymmetric breasts. Good luck.

Answer: Breasts I am so sorry you are going through this. No, the higher areola will not drop down. The lower can be raised to match the higher one. There is some improvement between the two photos as the higher nipple is now a little lower. It can only be lower only a certain amount. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.

Answer: Breast lift revision Dear Funny710028, I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 4 weeks post op.You will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively. At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues are still swollen. Once the swelling subsides you will be able to see the final result of your breast surgery. Answer: Breast lift revision to lift nipple It is clear that there is still some asymmetry of your nipple positions, but it would be premature to reoperate so soon after your surgery. Your breasts will continue to change as they heal and mature and it would be difficult to determine the best route of treatment at this early date. I would suggest waiting at least 3 months and 6 months, if possible, to allow for the most accurate planning of additional surgery.
