The biggest problem for me is if someone takes a photo of me im not seeing how I look and I do try to raise my eyes/brows to stop seeing the droopiness. Every single photo of me since high school I see the droopiness and its upsetting because if I take a selfie I look great minus the noticeable left brow droop. I think I need a blepharoplasty for both of my eyes and then a brow lift for my left brow which seems to droop more. Am I correct on what might need to be done?
Answer: Brow lift or Blepharoplasty? The best way to answer your question is to have a consultation. What you are representing is a dynamic problem that is hard to address with static photographs. Neurotoxins may help determine the best pathway for you. Yes, it's temporary but it would be a good investment to see how things would look with an improvement in your brow position.Hope this helps, Sincerely,Dr Kulick San Francisco

Answer: Brow Asymmetry vs. Eyelid Ptosis Thank you for the question and the photos. It certainly appears that you have brow asymmetry. I can't say for sure without an in-person examination, but it does not appear that you have eyelids ptosis. Addressing the brow position will likely help mitigate most of the eyelid issues, since the forehead/brow and upper lid are connected as a complex. In my practice, I routinely perform temporal browlifts -- including for asymmetry or doing a single side as needed. This has a high rate of success and the recovery is generally pretty easy. Have a great day!

Answer: #browlift It is not clear from your submitted photos that you have ptosis. It is clear that you have brow asymmetry with a higher left brow and strong corrugator pull on the inner eyebrows. That could be amenable to botox of the corrugators and the left forehead muscles i.e. is non-surgical. If it turns out that you are raising the brow due to ptosis of the upper eyelid botox only would not be appropriate. You need to be seen by a qualified surgery face to face as these nuance cannot be discerned in this online forum.

Answer: The Microdroplet Lift®, a botox method, would help. The Microdroplet LIft® is a cosmetic botulinum toxin method that does not freeze the forehead but concentrates the treatment at the eyebrow. The brow lifts. It would make a nice difference but it is not surgery. I think you need surgery. I would do an anchor upper blepharoplasty possibly with a small ptosis correction. In my opinion, a surgical forehead lift will not accomplish what you need. You currently do your own forehead lift. Unforunately, this surgery will lift the eyebrow. This raised brow look is not a natural one for you. Your youthful look includes a relatively low set brow and a relatively heavy upper eyelid fold, The key is exposure of the eyelid platform above the eyelashes. Untimately, there is no substitute for a personal consultation.

Answer: Brow lift for droopy eyes? A mini brow lift done at the hairline without a noticeable scar is what will give you the result you want and you can return to work in 2 days on average. Your age has nothing to do with the problem since many young patients are seen with this problem. Botox can be tried first if you want but usually does not give as good a result and needs to be repeated every 3-4 months.See an experienced surgeon who does the Irregular Trichophytjc Forehead lift.
