QUESTIONS ANSWERED

My vagina is swollen after breast augmentation, is this a concern?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

this is not usual.  swelling of the abdomen is possible due to blood running down under the skin.  also could be due to pain meds causing constipation.  if you have vaginal discharge could be due overgrowth of candida albicans, easily treatable.  take it up with your operating surgeon.

Liposuction rash. What should I do? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

the reaction could be due to something on your skin before or after the procedure, or injected under your skin during the procedure.  Why don't you forward your photos to your operating surgeon, as you could be a candidate for using a medrol dospak to abort the apparent allergic reaction. this a prescription item.

Why do doctors suggestion MACS Lift for a secondary procedure?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

very complicated questions. any facelifting technic depends on the surgeons training and experience.  so any technic may work better than another for any given surgeon.  macs usually means shorter incisions at the cost of having less skin excision to hold your face up as well or as long.  all technics have their advantages and drawbacks.  if in doubt get several opinions.

What is my eye condition? Dermatochalasis or ptosis? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

see an oculoplastic surgeon as they have greater expertise with eyelid ptosis than most general plastic surgeons.

Does using intraoperative breast sizers increase the risk of infection/complications?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I agree with the use of sizers.  in fact I usually sit the client up with sizers in place before inserting the final implants and frequently again with final implants in place.,  the risk of infection should be almost nil if the surgeon lavages out the spaces with antibiotic solution numerous times including just before the final implants are inserted.

it is feasable to have bilateral browlifts and or blepharoplasties. requires a lot of analysis and decision making.  get several opinions if you are unsure

My eyes aren’t even, what can be done to correct them? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

you have relatively minor asymmetry of the brow positions, but it is truly minor.  you do have excess skin of the upper eyelids so you are a candidate for upper lid blepharoplasties if that is a concern for you.

Hooded eyelids and brows above orbital bone? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

I think your brows are in good position although the right is slightly lower medially.  I think the real issues are excess skin and possibly fat of the uppers.  So I think you are a candidate for bilateral upper lid blepharoplasties.  if you have doubts get several opinions, and look at before and after pictures to get some idea of what results are possible.

6 months post-op tickle lipo to flanks - 2000 cc removed. How can I differentiate between swelling and fat?

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

if the swelling goes up and down, and looks good at some times probably best to wait longer before touchup, although 6 months is usually enough time for temporary swelling to go away.

Is my breast dying from inside out? Do I need a second opinion? Is there an easy fix to get the boob to look better? (Photo)

Asked By:AnonymousANSWERS (1)

a J or T implies that a lift was done and I think I see scars around the areolas corroborating this assumption.  the inverted nipple seems corrected, but you still have major asymmetry between the 2 sides both in size and degree of sagging. assuming you have not had breast implants you can have reduction of the larger  side or augmentation of the smaller side at the same time both are further lifted, as they are both too low ( breasts and areolas )

Excellent Experience

I am extremely satisfied with the Laser Lipo surgery that Dr. Jervis performed. I had the full surgery from thighs, abdomen, arms and back fat. Unbelievable and I feel fantastic. Dr. Jervis and staff are wonderful and professional. For the amount of laser Lipo I took off 3 weeks of work and was perfect time for me ;-) I also have my Botox injections done from Dr. Jervis. He is most excellent and very personable. Very responsibly priced. The Best.

An amazing quick procedure

Miradry is a fast and efficient way to prevent excessive perspiration Dr Jervis and his team made the procedure seamless I would definitely recommend this procedure for people who don't want underarm stains on clothing and to people who have an offensive odor, especially after a work out. One treatment and I am no longer embarrassed by my excessive sweating. Bjs

Dr Jervis and MiraDry--winning combination

I recently went to Dr. Jervis to get treated with MiraDry (eliminate underarm sweating). His staff is incredibly nice, and Dr. Jervis was great--30 min on each underarm, and I was all done. In the 3 weeks since having treatment, I have zero underarm sweating or odor. Thanks Dr. Jervis!

Life changing experience - Dr. Jervis

Recovery from my underarm Miradry treatment was quick and painless! My treatment was performed on a Monday and I experienced absolutely no downtime from work. I had very little swelling and Dr. Jervis recommended OTC pain pills if needed but I never had to take any. I fully recovered within just a few days of my treatment and am ecstatic to report that I no longer have to use deodorant or shave my underarms! Dr. Jervis and his entire staff are so professional and caring that I always refer to them as my second family. Miradry is a godsend and is the best money I ever spent. Thank you Dr. Jervis for changing my life!
