Hi there... I had implants 16 days ago. I I have two young children, and I have really been trying to avoid any sort of heavy lifting. But I worry about doing any damage by overdoing things worth my arms. In particular, I worry about my implants dropping too quickly/bottoming out. Please tell me what you think. Thanks!

Answer: 2 weeks post breast augmentation Based on your photographs you seem to be healing great following your breast augmentation surgery. I encourage you to not lift, push, pull, or strain anything over 5-8 lbs at this point in recovery. I would also adhere to all post-operative instructions given to your by your board certified plastic surgeon. Your breasts will be fully healed one year following surgery but will settle and shape by your 3 month mark. Keep up the good work.

Answer: Are my implants dropping too quickly? Thank you for sharing your question and photographs. Your results look very appropriate for 16 days after surgery, and I see no evidence of bottoming out taking place. The "dropping and fluffing" phenomenon takes place at varying times for patients as their tissue swelling resolves, so do not let this worry you. Best wishes.
