Hi RealselfnewbieTX. The difference between the Natrelle Inspira Responsive and Cohesive is the cohesive level of the silicone gel inside of the implant. Some people like to refer to it as different levels of gumminess. When I use the word "cohesive", I am referring to the cross linking of the silicone gel inside the implant. The more cohesive the implant, the better it maintains its overall shape when held upright in your hand. With the Natrelle Inspira collection, there are 3 different levels of cohesiveness: Responsive, SoftTouch, Cohesive. The Responsive implant is the softest and least cohesive. The Cohesive implant is the most cohesive with the most cross links. The SoftTouch implant is an in between option, which is a great for patients who don't prefer the firmness of the Cohesive implant, but want to have the benefits of the extra cross linking. Each implant is great for the right kind of patient. I commend you for being so thorough and doing your homework. Make sure that you look at plenty of before-and-after photos and that you're thoroughly impressed with your surgeon's work. Your surgeon should also be able to let you try out the different implants to see what feels right to you. If you have any doubts, keep searching. There are many reputable, board-certified plastic surgeons in your area, and you will not have a problem finding one whose work and personality are the perfect fit for you. Best of luck!
