I had fraxel and v-beam laser treatments done with Dr. Groves a little over 2 weeks ago. This was my 3rd and final treatment for some surgical scars that were about 12 months old. I wanted to wait until I was healed before posting the review as there is a bit of bruising and scabbing afterwards. The first two treatments were performed by two different individuals. I noticed more improvement from this third treatment than I did from the first two combined. Granted the healing time for the bruises and scabs to dissipate was longer this time around but absolutely worth the extra time to heal. Before the procedure numbing cream is applied and you wait for about 30min, maybe a little longer. During my wait Dr. Groves made sure I was comfortable (dimmed the lights, gave me the remote to control the music on the TV, reclined the chair). He’s a competent and considerate individual. I wouldn’t hesitate to get any type of laser procedures done with him in the future. I’ll be requesting him going forward.

Had a septoplasty that went wrong elsewhere some twenty years ago and finally took the chance to get it fixed at Dr. Emer's office and, honestly, I couldn’t be happier with the decision. Dr. Groves went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe, comfortable and assured leading into the surgery and made sure I was happy with the final result. He listened to my concerns, answered any questions I had throughout, easy to reach if I had some after hours concerns during the recovery stage and of course, he took the time needed to make sure the surgery would lead to the best results possible. Two weeks after the operation and you can barely tell I had a 9 hour surgery to fix my nose. You're in good hands here.

Very good bedside manner. Professional, precise, and honest. His follow up care was good and I appreciated his good disposition. He revised a scar from a motorcycle accident. The facilities he works in are modern, clean, airy and state of the art. His demeanor is very confident and relaxed. He was very proficient.
