Hi, thank you for sharing your question. Based on your photos, I would recommend a 360 Lipo. This will give you the ideal shape and contour. I hope this helps.
Thank you for your question and pictures. I would recommend you Tummy Tuck with liposuction for betters results. If you're willing to travel, Surgeons in the Dominican Republic have experience and very high standard of excellence when it comes to plastic surgery. I'm positive you can get what you're looking for
hellofor your body planning the liposuction 360 can give the better shape. On the other hand you have slight intraabdominal excess and relaxed abdominal muscles so the belly part may not be totaly fit after liposuction. For your operation plasma procedure can be added on liposuction to get the skin more tighten and more remarkable lines.
You already have a nice body frame. But your real abdominal issue is not even excess of fat, in reality is excess of skin and very loose muscle which make you look protruding. If you only get liposuction your abdomen will remain protruding and your abdominal skin will become saggier and lumpy. You are indeed a great candidate for a Tummy Tuck, muscle repair to achieve a flat abdomen and smaller waist and liposuction can still be done to waist and lovehandles and that snatched look will be totally achievable!!Be encouraged. Dear Hbombz, based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
Try the lipo 360 first to see if results are to your liking. Then if not a full TT with more lipo can get you to these results. Best to do virtual consults with...
Procedure choice should be based on a clear understanding of what the underlying ideology or what the diagnosis is.To get a clear understanding of what the underlying problem is requires an assessment and this is best done in conjunction with an examination. In regards to the front of the abdomen there are four variables that contribute to shape and contour. in other words if someone doesn’t like the way their belly looks it is always because of one or more of for different reasons. each of these reasons or variables has its own way of being treated so understanding which variable is causing the problem it’s pretty important.1. The first variable is skin laxity. This usually comes from previous pregnancies, weight fluctuations or sometimes loss of skin elasticities due to age. To differentiate if skin laxity is the problem pull on the skin above the area of concern to see if it changes its shape and contour it significantly. If it does then that tells you how much skin laxity is contributing to the shape of the abdomen. It doesn’t look like skin laxity is a significant problem in your case. Skin laxity of the abdomen is treated with some form of tummy tuck.2. The second variable is excess subtitaneous fat. This is the fat layer between your skin and muscle layer with a fat layer that you feel when you pinch your skin. To assess the thickness of your fat layer put your skin under gentle tension and with one finger tip gently push against the skin until you feel the underlying muscle wall. it does not require pushing hard. I’m guessing your subcutaneous fat layer is probably 3/4 of an inch around your mid abdomen. With Liposuction you can probably expect 75% of that to be removed.3. The third potential variable is muscle separation from previous pregnancies called Diastasis recti. This causes the abdominal wall to bulge and can only be treated with a full tummy tuck. A straight flat abdominal wall should create a beeline between the sternum and the pubic bone. If the abdominal wall bulges in front of this virtual line then something is causing abdominal wall bulging. Muscle separation can only be corrected with a full tummy tuck. 4. The last variable is excess visceral or intra-abdominal fat. Excess visceral fat will also cause the abdominal wall to bulge similar to muscle separation. to differentiate visceral fat we typically press against the abdomen until we get a flat abdomen and if it takes a significant amount of pressure to do so it’s probably because of excess visceral fat creating increased intra-abdominal pressure. Another way to check for visceral fat is to see if the abdomen becomes completely flat when a patient lays on their back.Excess visceral fat can only be reduced through weight loss. Making the decision of having the correct procedure depends on what the underlying ideology is and that requires an examination and making an assessment.Typically women who have pregnancy related changes are more likely to do well with a full tummy tuck why those who have not had children typically do better with Liposuction and weight loss. The two procedures offer different things and often patients may be suitable candidate for either Liposuction or a tummy tuck. The tummy tuck comes with a substantially longer and more intense recovery, a long scar and potentially unnatural looking belly button. generally a full tummy tuck always requires a general anesthesia and spending one night in a medical recovery facility is not a bad idea.Liposuction can be done with patients awake using local anesthesia with mild sedation. In the end on top of getting an accurate assessment it also comes down to what patients are trying to achieve and what they’re willing to go through.Delivering consistent Liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe. The importance of finding a sufficiently talented an experienced provider is probably the most important decision and variable when it comes to quality results.Do that by having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community.During the consultation ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for the procedure and areas you’re interested in. seeing a handful of pre-selected sample pictures which must likely represent the best results of the providers career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the handsome each provider. This is why to properly vet a plastic surgeon patients should ask the provider to open up their entire collection of before and after pictures and ask them to show as many as they’re willing to. especially ask the provider to show as many pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own.An experienced surgeon should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of the procedure you’re interested in. Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for these common procedures.Ask the provider to show results that are excellent, average and less than to get some idea of what typical results may look like. For a procedure like a full tummy tuck ask to see pictures from all views including the patient from behind.A good plastic surgeon will take into consideration what adjacent areas look like and how the procedure will impact the adjacent areas. for Liposuction ask the surgeon to point out exactly what areas were treated and where the untreated areas were so you can see transition zones between treated and untreated areas.Look carefully for any skin contour irregularities and liposuction results. Finally I recommend reading all reviews and various physician review websites avoiding providers with any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
Hi and welcome to our forum! From your photos, I note that you appear to demonstrate fullness of the abdomen and flanks. Without an examination, I cannot tell if the fullness of the abdomen is due to the presence of a fat repository or if there is separation of the anterior abdominal musculature as the result of previous pregnancy. There does not appear to be lax skin, stretch marks, or a hanging panniculus. You appear to be an excellent candidate for liposuction.Visit a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.Best wishes...
