I had lipo 360 about 3 years ago. Can I expect good results the second time around? (Photos)

If you were to undergo another round of liposuction, it is likely that you would end up with even more excess skin. Instead, I would recommend considering a tummy tuck with muscle plication to eliminate the excess skin and achieve a smaller waistline. During this procedure, I would dissect up to the sternum to free up any adhesions, plicate the rectus abdominis muscle to bring in your waistline by 2 to 4 inches, and remove any excess skin and fat in the pubic region, commonly referred to as the FUPA. Additionally, we could perform liposuction of the flanks to further enhance your results. If you are comfortable with having excess skin, another round of liposuction may be an option. However, for the most optimal and snatched result with minimal excess skin, a tummy tuck with muscle plication may be the best approach. Based on the pictures you appear to be good candidate for Liposuction in your stomach, waist, pubic area and laterals to improve your body contour also I would suggest you the skin tightening treatment to improve the skin quality. As you pointed out, you do have loose skin based on your photographs. Liposuction may make the skin even looser if more fat is removed. To get the best result, you would need a tummy tuck, so the excess skin can be removed. The muscles will be tightened to give you a narrower waist. Liposuction can be performed to address any residual excess fat of the abdomen or flanks.

Hello and thank you for posting. Unfortunately, I do not think you will get the results you are looking for with liposuction only. You would be best served with a TT. Actually, you were probably a candidate for a Tummy Tuck the first time around and that is why you didn’t get good and lasting results.

You obviously have doubts about a second round of lipo and with good reason. Please consult your surgeon about the possibility of a TT with Lipo. This would be your best option for sure!

Your main issue is saggy skin on your abdomen and mons pubic area, not even excess of fat.
Removing more fat will only create saggier skin because of deflation.
You are candidate for a Tummy Tuck, to remove skin, tightening, mons lift muscle repair to achieve a beautiful flat abdomen and smaller waist and liposuction to lovehandles and waist to create a mud y curvaceous contour.

based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Liposuction is a permanent and irreversible procedure. Anyone who is had well done Liposuction should not need a second go around of this procedure.
The potential improvement from secondary procedures is much less than from the primary procedure.
A lot depends on how aggressive the first surgeon was.
Typically speaking if people are not happy with the results of liposuction then the problem usually isn’t subcutaneous fat but rather some other variable that needs to be addressed. These could be skin laxity or excess visceral fat. In women with children muscle separation could play a part as well.
Generally speaking secondary liposuction procedures delivers much less than the primary procedure so I would keep my expectations on the low side.
I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community.
That said, delivering consistent quality Liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe and this includes plastic surgeons.
To get a quality assessment and quality liposuction results patients should put in significant effort in finding the most talented and experienced provider for this procedure.
Do that by having multiple in person consultations at which time you should ask each provider to show their entire collection up before and after pictures for liposuction of the abdomen. Ask providers to especially look for as many before and after pictures as possible of patients with similar body characteristics to your own.
Simply seeing a handful of preselected before and after pictures which most likely represent the best results of each provider‘s career is insufficient to get a clear understanding of what average results look like in the hands of each provider.
And experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 50 sets of before and after pictures of abdominal liposuction results. Highly experienced providers should have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for this commcommonly performed procedure.
I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews.
The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews.
