Although persons like you go into surgery all the time, the leaner you are prior to surgery the lower your risk of complications and the better your outcome.

If your current weight is one that you can comfortably maintain, you can start thinking about BBL right away. You can still lose 15-20 lbs. what will significantly improve your result. For the best results you want to be at a healthy, stable weight prior to your liposuction procedure. For elective plastic surgery it is recommended that a patient have a BMI below 30. At 190 lbs you already meet this criteria, but I encourage you to reach your weight goal prior to surgery.

Based on the photos, you are a good candidate for liposuction now. I find that after doing thousands of these cases, it is fine to loose 10-15 pounds after liposuction and still have terrific results. So, I disagree that you need to be at your ideal weight before liposuction procedures. Good luck and make sure you are going to a board certified plastic surgeon (ASPS).

Importantly, BMI is a significantly correlated risk factor for complications in plastic surgery.
Therefore, to undergo plastic surgery you must lose at least 5 pounds (2.27 kg); meaning that you still are overweight but your BMI will be lower than 30, and your surgery risk will be lowered too. The more weight you lose, the lower will be your risk.
That said, it is important to know that liposuction is not a method for losing weight, but to improve body shape.

With successful weight loss you may eventually not need liposuction at all.
Patients with morbid obesity or those who are very overweight will sometimes with successful weight loss eliminate the need for Liposuction and instead become a candidate for skin surgery with successful weight loss.
I don’t think you’re going to develop substantial skin laxcity from successful weight loss so I would say do the best you can and when you plateau or feel like you can’t lose anymore weight then go get your liposuction consults.
Delivering consistent quality liposuction results is more difficult than most people believe.
Being board-certified and plastic surgery with an overall good reputation is insufficient to guarantee a provider has mastered this seemingly simple procedure.
The difference between doing a little liposuction and delivering quality results is substantial and patients should make a strong effort into finding the most talented and experienced provider for any body contouring procedure when it comes to Liposuction and fat transfer.
Liposuction results are permanent and irreversible.
To find the best provider I suggest patients have multiple in person consultations with local board certified plastic surgeon in their community.
During consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures for abdominal liposuction results. Ask the provider to specifically pull out as many pictures as possible or that you’re willing to have patience with similar body characteristics to your own.
An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you a minimum of 50 quality before and after pictures of abdominal liposuction results. highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or even thousands of before and after pictures for this common procedure.When reviewing the pictures look critically for any areas of skin contour imperfections, divots , streaks and unnatural transitions from treated to untreated areas. Overall you look like an excellent candidate for Liposuction though the folds on your back bra roll may still be there since they represent skinfolds.
Finding the right plastic surgeon can take time and require a substantial amount of effort. without going through the process properly patient risk being left disfigured or having results that are substantially less than they had hoped for.
Finally, I recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding provided for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than having an abundance of positive reviews.
