Two weeks ago I had Juvederm, 1/2ml under each eye, to reduce the dark circles. My right eye looks great by my left eye bruised really badly and then, when that had gone down, it returned to how it looked before I had the filler! I looked like I had 1 black eye so I went back and was given another 1ml under my left eye but it still looks the same. The nurse who did it said she has never seen it happen before, it was as if it had just disappeared! What is going on? Should I get more?

It appears that the upper lip nerve block anesthesia was used which should not be lasting more than 6-8 hour regardless of the local anesthetic type used. Please see your injecting doctor if that numbness has not resolved
