I got my lips and nasolabial folds filled with Juvederm three days ago. Day 2 I was swollen and bruised. Day 3 still bruised but the swelling is gone, but now I have a hard ball where the filler was injected on my left nasolabial fold and in my Cupid's bow. I love the shape so I'm hoping the hard lumps will go away. Should I be concerned? Or give them more time to settle?

Answer: Hard lumps in Cupid's bow 3 days post Juvederm fillers? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties. Swelling after filler placement into the lips is quite common due to the thin nature of the tissues. This swelling, and your results, will steadily improve over the next 10-14 days. It often takes up to 2 weeks for fillers to soften and the tissues to appear more natural. In the meantime try reducing the swelling by using cold compresses to your lips and elevating your head at night with a couple of extra pillows behind your back. You may want to also consider using Arnica Montana and bromelain as supplements. Hang in there!
