Hard lumps in Cupid's bow 3 days post Juvederm fillers?

It's pretty normal to have small lumps and irregularities early after fillers like Juvederm.  They can be from the product, product swelling, local inflammation, or tissue trauma from the needle.  In the short term light massage will help.  But just stay with the product for a week or so, and if you still have issues at that point see your provider.  Superficial placement of the filler would persist, and should be addressed by your doc.  

Dont panic!  This is still early.  You might have a small focal hematoma post injection. This should improve.  Be patient. Follow the advice of your injector but hang tight with this issue.  Hope this helps.  Good luck.

Thank you for sharing your question and photograph and I am sorry to hear of your recovery difficulties.  Swelling after filler placement into the lips is quite common due to the thin nature of the tissues.  This swelling, and your results, will steadily improve over the next 10-14 days.  It often takes up to 2 weeks for fillers to soften and the tissues to appear more natural.  In the meantime try reducing the swelling by using cold compresses to your lips and elevating your head at night with a couple of extra pillows behind your back.  You may want to also consider using Arnica Montana and bromelain as supplements.  Hang in there!

You can gently massage this to help smooth it out. You can also ice your lips to help reduce swelling. If after 2 weeks you are unhappy with your lips you can have the filler dissolved with enzyme known as hyaluronidase. Please have follow with your injector in 2 weeks. Best of Luck!

are highly vascularized and are prone to bruising and swelling after lip
injections. Typically, it can take up to two full weeks for all of the swelling
and bruising to resolve.  If you still
notice the hard ball after two weeks, you need to follow-up with your injector.  There is an enzyme called Hyaluronidase that
can dissolve Juvederm but this should never be done prior to the two week
period and very rarely needs to be used as even the early hard lumps soften
with time.  I would recommend following
up with a board certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has extensive
experience and training in filler injections for optimal results.

Swelling and bruising can persist up to two weeks after treatment and you should continue to see softening over this time period.  You can use gentle massage to help soften the "lumps".  If you do not see improvement contact your injector for an evaluation.

The lips tend to swell the most compared to other areas of the face. It is normal for them to increase in size 2-4 days after treatment. It generally takes up to 2 weeks for swelling to come down, and for you to see the final results of you filler treatment. 

I would wait for 2 weeks for the swelling to completely resolve and then if you are not happy with the result, follow up with your injector. Hyaluronidase can work very well to dissolve filler if that is needed.
