Dr. Robert Schwartz specializes in surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic procedures for the face, breasts, and body. He is the owner and head surgeon of Robert Schwartz Plastic Surgery in Dallas, TX. Dr. Schwartz in board certified in plastic surgery by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is licensed and certified in both Texas and California, and has emerged as a destination surgeon for patients across the United States seeking the highest level of individual care. His philosophy of plastic surgery is to focus on each of his patients as a whole. Before performing any procedure, he personally meets with his patients to discuss their concerns and cosmetic goals. He believes that he doesn't just operate on patients, but for patients to help them achieve their ideal aesthetic for unparalleled results. Dr. Schwartz began his undergraduate education at Yale University as a physicist major. However, while his colleagues found beauty in the law of inertia, he was not equally moved. Instead, the most compelling force in his life had always been people — his family, friends, and ultimately his patients. More than defining any laws of nature, his greatest talent would be his ability to help redefine others. By his junior year at Yale, he had consequently changed his major to pre-med and his focus to neuroscience. Graduating summa cum laude, he was awarded a Regents Scholarship for academic excellence at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He then completed his residency in general surgery at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, devoting two years to full-time research in plastic surgery. This ultimately led to his selection for the plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, widely regarded as one of the specialty’s premier programs. As an expert in plastic surgery, Dr. Schwartz is adept in performing a wide variety of cosmetic procedures. Some of his top procedures include breast augmentation, breast lifts, liposuction, tummy tucks, and facelifts. In addition to these surgeries, Dr. Schwartz is skilled in administering dermal injections such as BOTOX, Bellafill, Radiesse, Restylane, and Juvéderm. He is also known for his QuickLift procedure, which gives a beautiful lower-to-mid facelift and improves the overall look of the neck without the invasiveness of a traditional facelift surgery. For minor cosmetic issues, he offers chemical peels and Kybella injections. Dr. Schwartz is a member of the following associations: American Society of Plastic Surgeons American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery American Medical Association
Must be booked same day as consultation
Literally the best! I can't say how much I love him & his staff. He actually cares about his patients. He's helped me so much though my plastic surgery journey. I've had only one small problem and he fixed it with no hesitation. I drove from a different state to use him!
Not sure where to start but just so much gratitude towards doctor Shwartz and his team. He is very straight forward and to the point which I appreciated because I didn't need any sugar coating if my current condition, simple consult and realistic approach for me . I had delivered 5 kids and lost 80 pounds so there is a substantial amount of skin to remove and I was worried about the scar but honestly it healed beautifully that I barely notice. Also loved my belly button, not big or small it's just right for my size. I'm 5'2 and 120 pounds on average. I would like to thank the entire staff whom made my surgery just phenomenal. I'm only 3 weeks out and I was able to walk straight after 1 week post opt and zero to no pain just discomfort but manageable.
After being unhappy with two previous breast augmentations, I was beginning to worry that my desired results were unachievable. However, Dr. Schwartz was able to fix the issue with my implant pocket and I can not get over how much I love my new breasts. I was extremely nervous to have a third breast augmentation but I'm so happy I pulled the trigger. My body proportions are perfect now, and I have the exact cleavage I wanted. I'd highly recommend Dr. Schwartz to anyone.
This will be my second surgery with Dr.Schwartz! He's absolutely amazing and his staff is TOP NOTCH! From Abby that's quick to always answer my silly questions because who doesn't want Consult-Recovery to be worry free! Rebkah the IV QUEEN-enough said! And of course Dr.Schwartz, he makes you feel comfortable and is honest on what is necessary to achieve whatever goal you have in mind! I highly recommend RS plastic surgery!
From the time I arrived for my first appointment I was treated like VIP! The staff was amazing and made me feel like family! My surgery was a breeze! The easiest surgery I have ever experienced, normally I get sick from the anesthesia but not this time! I am thrilled with my results, they are better than I imagined! I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon and team. I would highly recommend to anyone who is considering a breast augmentation.
I had my breast augmentation done with Dr. Schwartz last week and the recovery has been a breeze! I was sore for a few days, but it was super manageable and I was still able to do most things without much restriction! I recovered over the weekend and able to return to work that following Monday, so easy! I had been wanting a breast aug for a few years and after I had my baby I decided it was time and I could not be happier that I decided to go with Dr. Schwartz! From the consultation to the follow ups he was super thorough and had an answer to everything! Would highly recommend him to anyone looking for plastic surgery!
My initial consultation for breast augmentation with a lift left me feeling completely confident going forward with surgery. The staff and nurses made me feel very at ease and encouraged. Dr. Schwartz and I looked at my before pictures as we talked through my goals and what was reasonable. I’m completely loving my new look.
I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Robert Schwartz and it was honestly the best decision I’ve ever made!!! After I met with Dr. Schwartz and his super kind and welcoming staff, I walked out excited and book the surgery right away. Dr. Schwartz was very knowledgeable, confiden on the subject and has a good eye. I trusted him to know what would look best on me. The recovery was much easier than I had imagined it to be, thanks to the technique Dr. Schwartz used (there was very little down time and very little pain, if any). He also really listens to what you want and studies your inspo photos carefully to make sure you get the results you asked for. The process was very easy and everything happened really quickly. I wish I had met with him sooner because now I see there was nothing to be afraid of. It really feels like I’ve transformed into the body of my dreams in the blink of an eye! ThankYou !
At my initial consultation, I was very unsure of where I wanted to be, sizewise. I wanted to be a D cup, natural slope, but some fullness and roundness, and to correct mild ptosis without having to have a lift. I consulted several docs before deciding on one that I was comfortable with. We discussed what I was looking for and decided on some options. The ultimate decision would be his while I was under anesthesia during the operation. He was to place the one that looked the best on me. We discussed the need for a high profile implant to correct a mild ptosis on the right without the need for a lift. So, I assumed a high profile implant would be placed. When I awoke from anesthesia, I asked what cc he had placed. The nurse told me 420 cc. Sounded great. I assumed a high profile since that is what we discussed. I was loopy and did not even think to look at the cards, and did not even look before my 24 hour f/u. I just looked today and realized I received 420 cc extra high profile implants. I think they look like they should at 4 days post-op. I do trust this surgeon. I got recommendations from good sources, and his outcomes look very good and natural. But, I am nervous about the ultimate outcome with an extra high profile. I am not a small woman, broad shoulders. I will discuss this further at my next f/u in a week, and will keep updating. Updated on 10 Apr 2021: I am loving my progress so far. I was nervous about the extra high profile, but I think they are going to be fabulous! I was directed not to wear any compression. I think that has helped. Still sore and my nipples are super sensitive, but I think it is going well so far. Updated on 15 Apr 2021: So, I was skeptical. But, I am starting to LOVE these... I was so nervous about extra high profile. Apparently, my body can handle it. Still not compression/bras for another 4 weeks, but I am definitely trusting the process at this point. I have some definite sensitivity of the nipples; otherwise I feel great. Updated on 22 Apr 2021: I am thrilled at the 3 week mark. I think they look a little small on my frame. They really are not, and a lost of change left to go. Sensitivity is improving a little every day now, and they have dropped. Bruising is almost gone, and the incisions look great. Updated on 4 May 2021: My boobs are starting to fill out and look better. I keep going back and forth, feeling like they are not big enough. Finally feeling like the size is perfect, not too big, not too small. Incisions are healing great. And added bonus, this past week the extreme sensitivity has improved dramatically. Updated on 2 Jul 2021: So, yesterday was the 3 month mark. I kept going back and forth for the longest time about how I felt about my new breasts. I am now in LOVE. They have dropped and are soft. Comfortable most of the time. They still get a little tight sometimes. I just went swimming for the first time last week, and they did feel weird the first few times. That settled down really quick though. The right areola is larger than the left, just as it was before, so that is fine with me. And it doesn't take a whole lot to obtain cleavage with the right bra. I was a 36B to 38 barely B. Now a 38D/DD depending on the bra. Thanks so much to Dr. Schwartz. Updated on 19 Jul 2021: I am 3.5 months post-op. Recently noticed that I have an indention in my R breast when I raise my arm, sometimes it is not noticeable, and other times it is. Only notice it if I raise my arm. The breast and implant are very mobile. The implant is nice and soft. I noticed it once my implant finally started to "fluff" that side, as that boob was more narrow initially. Will this correct or is the start of something concerning? It does not look lime the typical double bubble, and it surely isn't bottoming out. WTF? Updated on 25 Jul 2021: So, since my last update, I asked my surgeon, sent a few pictures and he thinks it is the muscle. When I contract my muscle, it does worsen. So, I decided to go back to no bra for a bit, and stop swimming to give my body more time to heal. My breast looks normal again in just a few days. The indent is gone. I guess I will just keep doing the no bra, or only sports bras for a while and avoid upper body workouts.
Robert Schwartz and his staff are beyond amazing. From his bedside manner to the results (now 6 months out) I could not imagine using anyone else. I’ve recommended him to my mother, friends, neighbors, everyone really. He’s wonderful at what he does and his attention to detail is what sets him apart. From booking the appointment to going through the consultation he set the gold standard. He asked questions about the pictures I was asked to bring. He didn’t oversell me on something I didn’t need. I’m so pleased with my breast augmentation. If I could change one thing, I would have done it sooner. Thank you Dr. Schwartz and team.
Your question is a common concern. The goal is to make you feel optimally proud of your breasts, and if breast lift scars compromise that, you can always opt for a breast augmentation initially and express your goal of getting the most out of a breast augmentation without a lift. If you after the breast augmentation you decide you're happy, then great. If after you have healed, you think to yourself that you would still like a lift, then it is worth exploring again. Most people would rather do them at the same time than as two separate surgeries, so you have to weigh out the pros and cons and make that decision for yourself. Here is a link of someone who had similar concerns that we only did a breast augmentation on.
I would consider Vaser Hi-def lipo for your abdomen, flanks and back to give your body a nice all over contour. You could also consider harvesting the fat from said areas to contour and shape your buttocks for an even prettier outcome. A board-certified plastic surgeon can tell you in an in-office assessment if you would best be suited for a mini tummy tuck to tighten the skin at the front of the abdomen. It's rather difficult to deduce from the pictures and based on the position of your undergarment.
In 90% of most cases my patients do not require drains following a tummy tuck, lipo or BBL. The type of liposuction I perform produces very little swelling, and most of the fluid is absorbed by the body over a period of weeks. Regarding the tummy tuck, I sew down the skin and fat of the abdomen to the abdominal wall to prevent the need for drains while also decreasing the incidence of seroma. Only in rare cases, with extreme weight loss and skin redundancy do I place drains for the patient. In those types of cases, drains typically stay in for 3-6 weeks depending on how well the patient is progressing through their healing.
You will need to check with your plastic surgeon's care team for clearance to sleep on your side. I understand that it has been three weeks since your full tummy tuck, and while your healing may be progressing well on the skin's surface, you are in fact still healing on the inside. Please make sure that you communicate all of your questions directly to your surgeon's office and be sure to follow their instructions so that you heal well with no complications.
You need to have your abdominal area evaluated by a plastic surgeon who can make an appropriate recommendation regarding where fat can be harvested to augment your buttocks. During your evaluation, your surgeon can assess your abdominal area to determine if you are a proper candidate for a mini or full tummy tuck. I will say that judging by your photo, it does appear that you have a significant amount of visceral fat at your abdomen. An in office consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon would be worth the time/money spent to determine if having both or multiple procedures will give you the results you desire.
