How long does it take to see results after I had Juvederm in my lips and used it around the eyes? I had 1CC done

The plastic Surgeon focused on my lips and used the rest around my eyes to fill the tired bags under my eyes. How long before I see a result and how long should I wait to get another CC?

Once dermal fillers are injected, the results are able to be seen immediately.  After product is introduced to the dermal layer of the skin, transient swelling and even bruising can set in, lasting anywhere from 2-3 weeks in most patients. While swelling may not be visible to you at this point, I would wait 2-3 weeks before adding additional product to your lip and eye areas. Schedule a follow up with your injector and reiterate your goals so that he/she can determine how best to move forward to ensure you have a result that you love.

The fullness to the area from fillers is most evident immediately after treatment. However, for up to 2 weeks afterwards you can see some swelling or bruising.  1 syringe between all those areas is very little to go around and likely not enough.  Additionally, Juvederm is not the best filler for under eye due to its proclivity to hold onto water in the area. Please follow up with your injector to discuss adding a second syringe.

Thank you for your question.  Typically, you will see an immediate result after the injection.  Please keep in mind that it will take 2 weeks to allow for any normal postprocedure swelling and bruising to resolve and to see your final result.  At that point, if you continue to have any concerns, please be sure to see your injector for an in-person reevaluation to fully discuss your concerns and your goals and expectations in order to determine the best treatment plan.  Hope this helps and best wishes!

The results from HA fillers are immediate. They do take about 10 days for "settle in" and that is the typical period I usually wait for before re-injection. Sometimes there is swelling that occurs for a couple days related to the trauma of the injection and the hydrophilic effect of the filler.

Sounds ike you were under treated in volume. Because you should see results within a day or two.. Most patients d not understand only 1 syringe is never enough.
