I was playing around with my face trying to see if I added more volume to the apple of my cheeks or the upper anterior part, it would "push" or "lift" the face upward which in turn actually creases and wrinkles up my under eye area if you know what I mean. Is this what happens? how can this be avoided?
Answer: Wouldn’t Adding Voluma to Upper Cheeks Crease Eye Skin? Voluma’s Volume Lessens Wrinkles (HA Fillers) Adding Voluma to build up your cheekbones is not equivalent to pushing on the apples of your cheek. The hyaluronic-acid based filler is injected deeply into the skin, where it plumps it up and strengthens it. The volume actually pulls the eyelid skin slightly outward, rather than bunching it up. Be sure to consult a board-certified dermatologist who knows how to build more volume in the face and smooth out wrinkles with Voluma.

Answer: Voluma: Creasing under eyes Dear bellbluey, Thank you for your question. You are correct that Voluma injection to your cheeks can help add lift to the midface. As long as the filler is injected deeply and not towards the lower eyelid region, the tear trough area should not be significantly affected. If you have additional hollowing under the eyes, a thinner filler such as Belotero can be considered to restore volume in that area at the same time. I recommend you seek further evaluation with a facial plastic surgeon or plastic surgery who can perform a thorough examination and then discuss with you the best treatment options.

Answer: Wouldn’t adding Voluma to the upper cheeks push/lift the face upwards and crease up the under eye? Thank you for sharing your excellent question. Because Voluma is placed deep in the face it is unlikely to cause creases and wrinkles underneath the eyes and should in fact improve them by supporting the sagging tissues. Be sure to see an ASPS board certified plastic surgeon in consultation to maximize your results.

Answer: Will Putting Voluma In My Upper Cheeks Cause Wrinkling Of My Lower Eyelids? The short answer to your question is NO.Voluma will add volume to your cheeks at a deep level which pushes up the skin of the lower eyelid, therefore decreasing wrinkles in the lower eyelid. Also, it adds volume to your infra orbital rim which decreases the visibility of fat bags and, at times, eliminates them entirely.Voluma as a base on your cheek with Vollure on top looks natural, is flexible, and if done artistically, makes your cheeks and upper face look aesthetically fuller for over a year.

Answer: Voluma and wrinkles Hi and thanks for the question. If done correctly Voluma is injected into the deeper layers of the cheek and this will push the skin up and away from the bone. We see wrinkles actually improve as the volume loss is one of the reasons that wrinkles develop under the eye area as we age. thanks and take care.
