Hard pea sized lump a month after voluma. Do I need to do anything about it?

It's not visible but I can feel a hard pea size lump in my skin when I touch it. It's like a rock and moves a bit when I press on it . Do I need to do anything about it?

Thank you for your question.If you cannot see the lump, you do not have to do anything with it. After injections, sometimes you can feel the product under the skin. If the lump bothers you, doing gentle massage may help it to dissolve faster.

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  If the area does not cause aesthetic difficulties and does not cause you pain you need not do anything for the lump.  If it persists for a long period of time, however, you may want to have a small amount of hyaluronidase placed to dissolve it.  Hope this helps.

If there is a small lump that is not visible then you do not really have to treat the area.  However, if you want to dissolve it a small amount of Vitrase should work and it should be gone in a few days.  Please consult an expert in Voluma for the best cosmetic results.  Best, Dr. Green

If it is not visible and doesn't hurt or bother you in any other way, you can just leave it alone and it will dissolve on it's own over time. If it does bother you , it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase injections. It may take several sessions. Good luck!
