Every year I treat myself for a vampire facelift and am always so impressed with results. Dr Popescu is personal and professional. I trust her with all my Botox and skin care regiment as well. Results are natural and I look rested. Friends say I look the same as I did in my 30’s.
Amazing and brilliant doctor! She helped me enhance my appearance during a difficult time in my life. I would recommend her to anyone I know. She is welcoming and warm. She will not judge you and wants to hear your concerns so that she can help you fix them.
I love popescu. Very easy to communicate to for me. Have never had any problems and have been satisfied with its my results. I’m not a person who is comfortable interacting with doctors so her sense of humor and ability to consult and commilunicate is important to me I would feel comfortable contacting her about coming back to her with any complications or asking any questions or expressing my anxieties to her. Scheduling and bureaucratic issues are easy which is important to me and I have never had a problem in that department. I am a pretty squeamish person and have found popescu to be very accommodating with my issues. She’s also fun to talk to and has a great sense of humor and she also knows her stuff and is honest about what to expect.
Had a very good experience with this doctor. Heard about the provider through Groupon, which was gladly honored. The office is convenient to Metro North if you live in NYC. The doctor definitely took her time throughout the procedure, I didn't feel rushed, and, post operation, she called that weekend, which I thought was very thoughtful. I'd definitely recommend this doctor
Dr. Popescu was very informative from the first consultation. It was clear what was going to be done and even though I was nervous the day of the procedure, she made me feel comfortable the entire time. I’m really happy with how my results are looking so far, even with the residual swelling. Cant wait to see how it looks once everything is completely healed!
Dr. Popescu listened to my needs and gave honest feedback. BRENDA is amazing the office all.around is top notch! I was so impressed I came back again and when/if I plan to have other services there will be no other choice! Highly recommend
I could not be more thrilled with the results of my procedure!! Dr. Popescu took her time evaluated the results as she went through the procedure to ensure the best outcome. She is absolutely skilled and experienced. I appreciate her comprehensive care and concern for the outcome which is apparent in her follow up care as well.
I had a great experience at Dr Popescu’s office. Staff was very nice. She was very accommodating. I did not wait long to get seen. The doctor listened to my concerns and was very attentive to my needs.
I always have a very good experience with Dr. Popescu. She is a perfectionist and I trust her with her decision on how to improve my looks. She never does too much and this makes me look very natural. I recently had the plasma facial which made me look refreshed. I am now on a follow up maintenance treatment and highly recommend the procedure.
Last week, I saw Dr. Popescu for my 3rd Vampire Facial treatment for acne and acne scars. She drew my blood, separated and activated the platelets. My face was numbed with numbing cream and after that she started the microneedling process combined with the plasma. At the beginning I was nervous about it, but now I know what to expect. I felt only a pricking vibration sensation. After the procedure I applied more plasma on my face. For the next few hours my face was pink, but there were no track marks and no scratches. My next treatment is scheduled next month. I can say that my acne and acne scars have so far improved by about 70%. Dr. Popescu explained that this may take at least 5-6 treatments and I plan on continuing treatment until my acne clears. Dr. Popescu's office is spotlessly clean. The environment has a medical feel to it while providing a relaxing atmosphere. The doctor and her staff are extremely professional while knowing how to make you feel at ease. It is easy to schedule and to get in touch with the office and Dr. Popescu for additional questions if you have any. I highly recommend Dr. Popescu to my family and friends and to anyone who needs quality care.
Good morning and thank you for your question. Vampire facelift involves the injection of activated PRP's and a small amount of filler. Vampire Facial involves the topical application of PRP's on the skin while using a microneedling device. The Facelift treats deeper structures of the skin and improves volume as well as skin quality. The Facial is more effective superficially on the skin treating pores, scars, fine lines or hyperpigmentation. As far as choosing the best treatment for your neck, each patient is different. It is better to discuss with the provider what works best in your case. Vampire procedures are "restoration procedures" while “Ultherapy” would tighten or more descriptively "contract” your skin structures. I hope this was helpful and good luck from Westchester County, New York! Oxana Popescu MD
Hello and thank you for your question. Yes you can have residual discharge especially in the lower situated incisions due to gravity. The sensation of “heavy bricks moving” is an indication that there is a lot of fluid and inflammation in the tissue. Lymphatic drainage is indicated as soon as you can tolerate it. This is the most likely cause of what you are observing. Still, I would definitely discuss with the doctor who performed the procedure during your post op visit. Speedy recovery, Oxana Popescu MD
Hello and thank you for the photos. I know it must be very concerning to you and the next few weeks and possibly months will require attentive care for the décolleté-breast areas. This hyperpigmentation is treatable. I would definitely not perform any treatment until the inflammation is completely gone. Next time I would probably treat less deep. Avoid any sun exposure and see your doctor to establish a treatment plan. Good luck, Oxana Popescu MD
Hello and thank you for your question. The skin under eyes is very thin and occasionally the end of the thread can become visible. In addition threads can migrate or come out if they are not locked in a dense mesh of threads. It is possible that the thread will come out in the bump area. I would not do anything and just wait. The thread will either dissolve or come out on its own and this can take a couple of months. Alternatively you can apply local heat which will dissolve the thread. Oxana Popescu MD
Hello and thank you for your question. The use of a compression garment reduces swelling, and immediately after the procedure prevents fluids collection under the skin. Less swelling equals faster a recovery. Patients report that discomfort is controlled better when wearing the compression garment. I typically recommend compression garment 24 hours a day for 4 weeks, then at night time until pain resolves. Speedy recovery from Westchester County, NY. Oxana Popescu MD
