I had a small silicone implant placed in my chin last year. It makes my face longer. my surgeon wants to put me under IV sedation, which confuses me since first time he told me only local anesthesia is needed for the removal! When i complained about the chin, he said you have a projection when you smile naturally and that is a 'contraindication for the implant' (which was never mentioned before the surgery!!) :/
